We love this product. We have 3 young kids and this prevents them from opening our sliding glass door without our knowledge. It can also prevent people from opening your sliding door from the outside. Easy to install. Instructions are clear. Great functionality.

Back to purchase another one of these for my sliding patio door. This little device lasted EIGHT YEARS of my kids attempting to yank the patio door open on it, forgetting it was locked up top. EIGHT YEARS in the full afternoon sun on a glass slider door. Worked beautifully. Buy it immediately. Best “childproofing” thing I’ve ever purchased, well worth the money.

Very easy to place on the glass door. Once you place both bars upright in their lock position they work great, the sliding door won’t open at all.

These work way better than I expected. I actually laughed when someone recommended them to me! We have two small children and pool safety was our top priority. We have a 3 panel slider, so I added one burglabar each to two of the panels. Installed in seconds and was so easy! Someone said these wouldn’t stop someone from getting into your house, but I disagree. They’re strong and sturdy. Just make sure there’s no slack upon install so momentum can’t get going with the door to slam against it. CON: One has broke 11 months later, but we will be ordering another pack. The plastic itself didn’t break or shatter - it’s super strong and durable. The spring (or whatever mechanism inside the crease that folds it up) just gave out so it flips down and won’t stay “locked” in place. Guessing just from everyday use. We use it multiple times a day because we have kids and dogs that go in and out Just remember - a child can easy climb a chair or something to unlock / flip these down. We actually never told them we installed them and would distract them before unlocking so they didn’t know for a very long time there were even there or why they couldn’t open the door once they unlocked the handle

I like this product it works and you can't really notice it. I would recommend and buy again if needed. As a matter of fact I will buy for my mother. It's easy to install, locks doors, its secure door does not budge. I have used for a while now good quality.

I have used these for quite a few years now, and I am wondering if they have changed the adhesive that is used to make them stick?? The first ones I bought for my sliding glass door worked for about 6 years with no issues. These that I recently purchased popped off my door within a month of putting them on. I always have followed the instructions as directed, but find it odd that they now don't seem quite as effective as they used to be. Perhaps they aren't using the same adhesive or not using the same amount?? I gave up and just purchased a steel security bar, which I had planned on, anyway. Just a bummer since the first ones I used seemed so good for so long. I actually left them on the door when I moved to a different apartment. Why remove them since they still worked?

I wanted something that would deter my toddler from opening the sliding door of our kitchen pantry, but would still be very easy to open and close because we use it extensively while cooking and this work like a charm. The sticker is sturdy and hasn't flinched even when we forget it's there and slide the door into it. It's discreet since it's just clear plastic and very easy to use. I would recommend without hesitation.

Great at stopping the window going up beyond a chosen point. Have found this falls off one of our windows wooden frame way too often though and I've had to purchase double sided tape to replace the sticker on this unfortunately.
