Drive Devilbiss Left Hand Sided Over Chair / Recliner Table

It went together alright, took a bit of double reading but got there in the end, it's sturdy, nice looking, and adjustable. Swings round easily for meal times, is a prefect height for easy access to drinks, TV remotes and tissues. Bit of a tip, when lowering, you depress the handle and push down on the same end, which resulted in no movement, however, if you wiggle the top just a little it was easy peasy.

Bought this for our elderly father who has parkinsons. It is quite expensive but it was the most suitable table for his needs. There are no trip hazards with this item as the baseplate goes under the chair and the upright is close to the side. The top is also height adjustable. In use, the table is the full width of his recliner armchair. The top swivels away effortlessly from him when he wants to get up. He uses it mostly for eating his meals and his cuppas through the day. He also keeps his books and glasses on it along with the remote control for the telly, so ample area. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The only downside is the stability but this is not the fault of the product. He likes thick carpet and underlay on his floor so, as the frame of the chair sits on the baseplate, the soft carpet allows the baseplate to sink a little to one side. On a hard floor this wouldn't be an issue. This is a quality product and we would recommend it to anyone.

I'm confined to a riser/recliner chair most of the time and have tried many swinging chairside tables. This one has proven to be the best so far. I had been trying swinging tables around the £80 mark and they were all rubbish. their main fault being that they dropped in height every few days because of their swinging action, well this one doesn't drop at all. its sturdy, rigid and stable (with its foot plate under the feet of my chair). its also a good sized table top with enough room for my 17" laptop, mouse mat and a drink at the side. The only point against would be that I have to have this table at its maximum height and it just fits over the arms of my chair in its horizontal position. I was lucky with height so measure carefully. Otherwise this table is recommendable.

This product is easy to assemble but the table top is very difficult to slide up and down. I would go as far to say anyone elderly would be unable to move it. Stiff and sticky movement. Ordered replacement and it was worse than original

This was a good, well built product. However be aware that the picture shown on Amazon is incorrect. A LHS table sits on the RHS of the chair looking at the chair from the front (So sitting in the chair it would be on your LHS). The picture shows the opposite to this therefore I had to return the product.

Excellent product. Very useful for my elderly aunt. Very easy to assemble.

Excellent product well made and easy to assemble

Only niggle instructions appear to be for an earlier version spent half a day looking in packaging for 10 mm nuts it use 14mm bolts which screw in from the bottom. Only one spanner required, I love the swivel mechanism so simple so unbreakable, no lock on it is not a problem for me.

Extremely well made, and serves as a desk in my sun room.

After receiving and assembling this table, the spring to raise the table did not work. I contacted the seller for customer service, and they were very helpful and ended up sending out a new one. I was a bit disappointed that the first one did not work, but happy they made it right. My mom has been using this table for years now, and it is still working great.
