This selfie monitor is seriously amazing! I stick it to the back of my phone and boom, I can see myself using the rear camera. No more blurry selfies or weird angles. I do a lot of vlogging and taking videos and photos of myself. The back camera on the iPhone is a higher quality than the front camera therefore facing the back camera towards you is important. This device helps get the perfect angle. I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it is compatible with both of them. There was a magnet on the device that you can stick on the back of your magnetic iPhone. It’s a small device so it’s very portable and does not take up much space. It’s worth the money considering how useful it is; however, the battery life is not great.

I really wanted this to be as awesome as all the reviews said it would be. I was so excited at the thought of having crisper video. I don’t understand how not one person has mentioned that if you don’t want lag while you’re recording, you have to download a free app called black magic camera. Black magic has more settings on it than one could possibly imagine( professional photographers would be the only people to understand all these settings) it was clunky to learn and figure out, and I’m pretty technologically savvy, sometimes even after I set all the settings properly thanks to ChatGPT…. It would still lag and then at GPT said to log out turn off your phone for five minutes and log back in and sometimes that worked and sometimes it didn’t. And quite frankly my selfie camera is far better and superior quality video. Believe me, I checked and checked and compared and compared. The other thing is that no matter what I do, I cannot seem to get myself properly centered in the shot (you have to be crooked to the camera to look like you’re straight ) and I feel like I’m never really looking at the camera even when I am looking directly at the unit itself… when you look at the lenses on the phone that doesn’t look right either. You just look like you’re looking up. The other thing that no one mentioned is that it makes your phone so heavy that if you’re using a regular light daily tripod, it can’t hold up the phone with this Attachment magnetized to it and the tripod rod starts to slowly fall into itself. I’ve spent hours with ChatGPT getting all the settings right in the black magic app and it’s still lags intermittently and the background of myself whenever I’m recording talking to camera is always blurry instead of crisp and I’ve tried to fix that as well in the settings in the black magic camera app with the help of ChatGPT. This is an unreliable, glitchy unuseful headache of technology that’s glitchy constantly at best. “Just attach it and go” my foot. I honestly can’t believe all the positive reviews. Also you can’t hear audio on playback till you save it to camera from the black magic app (which there’s a little card in the box that tells you to download it to avoid lag) This thing is just far too much trouble and definitely not any better quality then my selfie camera. I can’t believe how many good reviews this has because I’ve spent hours upon hours trying to make this work, but my selfie camera is far superior than whatever this is recording and I don’t even look centered and my eyes don’t even look like I’m looking at the camera. Definitely returning this.

This arrived promptly but cannot be used out of the box as the power adapter supplied is not for a UK power socket despite the product being delivered to a UK address. I believe they have provided a US power lead. I will now need to source a power adapter. Adapter purchased - this is a very good product, very clear. Update the power adapter and you would have 5 starts from me.
