for testing hardness it is quite important , this is a good reference point to see your parts final quality of harness or reference to replacement to same quality, works well , i even prooved my brother in law , in snowmobile parts quality of harness

Item came in nice package and was delivered within the timeframe stated. This set of tool is very helpful for checking hardness of parts/ tools in the workshop when a professional hardness tester is not available. The original instruction is in Japanese, but seller also includes a translated copy in English. Very thoughtful. Overall this is a good tool to be had in the home workshop, or for small family-own shops where having professional hardness testers are not practical.

If you have a printer, tape and know how the search engine works, then you know what to do! :) It's functional, that in and of itself adds value for the money. It's small, so the size is great for my work bench area that is already brimming with tools, so the small foot print is also a plus!

Very helpful tool to have around. And inexpensive shortcut to estimating hardness. Good for anyone using steel and needing to make a determination about hardness in the work.
