I moved a year and a half ago. Whoever installed the whole house water filter didn't mount the filter to the wall. It's just hanging between the plumbing. When twisting the filter housing off to change the filter it causes the pipes to leak. I needed to secure the pipes to the walls. These clamps were perfect for that. I got one size too big for my pipe but that was my fault. It still works great. The adjustability made installation a breeze to get the expected results. I installed a mounting block from an old piece of wood and mounted these brackets to the block, fixed the leaks and secured the pipes. Now I can change my filter without worrying about springing a leak at the compression ring. Perfect

I am not a plumber and until I can no longer perform these tasks I will use what are called shark bite fittings. The only issue I have with those fittings (aside from their proven long term use) is their seeming flexibility between pipes, joints and valves. To secure all parts of the plumbing joints and to keep them tight inside cabinets from being hit/jostled, and losing the connection between parts I now use these posts. I can speak of their own long term use (and the welded pieces) over time, I can say that these solidify the entire length of pipe, connections and valves that I no longer have to worry about leaks or accidental damage in my plumbing. Not only have I used them in the cabinet but because there isn't a huge cost to buying in pairs I now have them under the floor and in the toolbox for future uses. Time to spend the savings on other things besides hiring more contractors

I restore old boats and outboards from the 60’s and 70’s. I used this as a steering support. So far it is working very well. It is stainless steel. Nice rubber in the jaws to hold the tube, it is heavy duty, and adjustable. Price was very reasonable compared to the supports from a boat supply company. Probably not heavy duty enough for engines bigger than a 25 hp . But it is working excellent for the 6 hp that I have it on.

I bought these to use on my homemade fishing skiff. They were used to secure the arms for my outrigger floats and they worked great! Plus being stainless, even after several years they still haven't rusted and are still holding stong!

The quality of this was really good and fits well. The good thing is, you can adjust it from the wall. For small diameter tube support, this one will surely secure it.
