Brightech Ambience PRO Replacement LED Light Bulbs, 1 Watt LED Edison-Inspired Exposed Filaments Plastic Bulbs, S14 Energy Efficient Outdoor String Lights Bulbs - 15 Pack

I have 3 strands of outdoor lights by Feit purchased at Costco. The total bulb count is 72 and they consume 11 watts each. Do the math and that is a lot of electricity. I was searching for a LED bulb that had the Edison look and also the warm glow of the original 11 watt incandescent bulbs. These are 1 watt and are actually a tad brighter than the original bulbs. The color is a perfect match right on at 2700K. The actual bulb is glass just like the original incandescent. they have been in use for a few weeks now and so far no issues. Quality was great. I did not have one single defective bulb out of the 72 bulbs installed which was a surprising. My electricity consumption was cut by 90%!

Excellent replacement bulbs for the Brightech solar string lights I bought over a year ago. Which coincidentally still work as new! Bright light, well made. Great price too for the quantity. Overall a happy purchase.

Good quality, very bright. Bought these to replace old incandescent bulbs in outdoor string lights that are up year round. The strands were from Costco (feit electric) and they have held up well, but I recently bought another from Costco and they are LED. The Costco LED ones are much dimmer, more amber, and already have water inside some of the bulbs...so I decided just to replace the bulbs, and these from Bright Tech were less expensive and a better quality. We will see how long they last compared to the incandescent, but they have to be less expensive to run.

I love my outdoor light string for when I put the dog out late at night but I was thinking that it was running my electric bill a little higher than I wanted so I ordered the LED lights to replace the original lights. I just put them in the string a week or so ago. I am hoping that these will bring down my electric bill a bit. I find that these LED bulbs are a little brighter than the original but I really don't mind. I have thought about purchasing an outdoor dimmer to bring the brightness down a bit. So far I have not found a dimmer with good ratings yet.

These lights are great with respect to quality, consistency, use for a particular purpose and overall looks. I chose them because they had the two filament style that the higher wattage bulbs have and I liked that look. Most other lights in the 1 watt range had a straight one filament and I wanted the more accurate retro style. Delivery was prompt, packaging was adequate and there were no duds in the two boxes I ordered. Light consistency was even. No bulb was brighter than the other. The reason I knocked off one star is because number one, I couldn't find a place on the web site to ask the seller a question so I had to resort to the review format. And, two, I purchased these lights to light a walkway up to my door (see picture #1). Works great for that. Bright enough but not too bright. I noticed at night, the filaments in the bulbs glow to the point that they look like night lights. (see picture #2). Not noticeable during daylight. Some might say, that's cool. I wonder if that is normal? Has anybody else noticed this effect? Does it have something to do with that fact the bulbs are only 1 watt?? As I said earlier, I couldn't find a place to ask the seller so i'm putting it out to buyers. Have you noticed this?

These bulbs are reasonably priced and work efficiently. The bulbs fit well and offer a good source of light.

I had recently purchased 3 strings of 2 Watt LED's, to replace 1 older house string that was 11 watts each bulb (that was 264 watts). It was great to have only 144 watts used and 3 times the length! However, I found that the 2 Watt LEDs were too bright!! So I figured I needed to get 1 Watt replacements for the 2 watt, and to be safe, I wanted to be able to dim it further. It was a good thing I did this, because after putting a few up and looking at night, I realized I would need to dim it because the 1 watts looked just like the 2 watts! So I emailed Brightech, and they responded with the proper dimmer - a Lutron Credenza for dimmable LED.... and it works!!! This item's wiring is under the eaves so it's my version of water-proofed. It handles 3 strings of 24 bulbs or 72 bulbs and they are perfect... A side note here, as dimming happens the bulbs turn less cool white and go to warm lights for temperature - success!!! (The picture isn't really that good, since you can't see the separation of bulbs, bet being there it does!)

I needed to replace 22 light bulbs and was looking for an affordable option. These light bulbs did just that. All bulbs arrived in working condition and in a timely manner. Could not be more pleased. Bulbs are brighter than original bulbs as several reviewers mentioned but this is really a plus for me since I use them around a deck and fence that surround my pool. Would definitely recommend and plan to order more.
