This is the brown switch model. The build quality is great, and this thing feels like it will last for decades. I'm not a fan of the side-by-side labels on the number and punctuation keycaps, but I'll learn. I'd also make the nubs on the F and J keys a tiny bit bigger for instant recognition when I'm not at the perfect angle. One more niggle is probably just a incorrect assumption on my part. I expected more of a distinct tactile feel at the instant the key connects. The feel of the key bottoming out is good, but the moment above that when the connection happens isn't noticeable. The sound is much louder than my old keyboard, but I hear that the red switches are even louder. How much you like is completely a matter of taste, I suppose. It's a nice sound to me, as long as I'm not worried about disturbing others. In spite of what sounds like a lot of complaints I am going to be very happy with this keyboard. It's a big upgrade on the generic one that came with my machine.

Keyboard looks and feels great. Only problem is about a week after having it multiple keys started acting up. My 4, L and spacebar would randomly not register or register multiple clicks. It was very buggy. I sent an email to the customer service team and there solution was to send me a new PCB board. It took a month of back and forth communication to finally get the PCB board and worst of all is I had to completely take apart the keyboard (which is not meant to be taken apart) and it cause the tabs to break so the shell is not all the way sealed. It is working now but I feel like it would have been a lot easier for them to just send me a new keyboard and then I send them the broken one and they fix it themselves. Bad customer service, Buggy product on arrival, overall frustrating experience.

Solid mechanical keyboard that comes built with the QWERTY keyboard, but the default windows keys (like the WIN key and ALT) aren't on by default; you have to pop the others out and put them on. The lights are a nice touch, and someone more creative than me can make them dance wonderfully. It sets up easily, is properly responsive, and doesn't cause these lightly arthritic hands any issues.

Great for work. PBT keycaps sound great. LEDs are nice and bright. I took it apart and packed it full of foam and that also did help a lot. To take it apart, there are some screws under the keycaps, and also you have to slide a slim tool around the bottom edge. It's a little tough but you have to unsnap all the tabs. It took me a while to get the case off, but after that it's easy to modify the keyboard and put it back together. Anyway I got mine used and it was still in perfect condition

For years I've been using a cheap Cooler Master keyboard for my computer at work, but it was worn to the point that the keys were sticking, and half the characters had been worn off the caps, so this week I decided it was time for an upgrade. I'm not a fan of RGB or extraneous controls or over the top designs, so I appreciate that this keyboard is pretty utilitarian in that regard. The backlight is a nice accent without being garish and it matches the light on my mouse. It would be nice if the housing was made of metal, but the ABS it's made of is fairly substantial. This is my first keyboard with tactile switches and for my tastes it feels *really* good to type on. It's nice and punchy, but the sound is subdued enough that nobody in my office has tried to smash it over my head yet. Unfortunately, I've run into similar issues that other reviews here have mentioned, namely that at least one of the keys has had responsiveness issues right out of the box. Specifically, the "U" key on my keyboard only registers a press about half the time. I type fairly fast, too, so it's a persistent annoyance having to back up and correct it. It's actually been getting worse and worse as I type this review. It took me four tries just to type that last "up". Three tries for that one. If I unplug the cable it seems to fix it for a little while, but I might just be gaslighting myself. I've tried swapping cables, ports, and doing a factory reset, but nothing has yielded a permanent fix. I'm going to contact Keychron before I give up and return it to Amazon because otherwise I really like this thing.

I've been using a Noppoo Choc Mini with Gateron Brown switches for years, and I needed to switch to a keyboard with a full numpad. I was looking for a keyboard with the following: - Full size layout - Tactile/non-clicky mechanical switches (usually Brown) - Double-shot PBT keycaps This fit the bill, and for a very reasonable price. Overall thoughts on some features: The backlighting is nice. It's more for effect since the keys aren't transparent, but I like it. You can do a lot of the same lighting effects I've seen on gaming keyboards. The keyboard has a plastic case (some enthusiasts like metal cases specifically), but I don't mind at all. It's a nice black texture that simulates brushed aluminum, and fingerprints don't show on it. The construction is sturdy and doesn't have much flex. Typing also has a really satisfying "clunk" to it. The keys themselves are very smooth. Similar in class to Gatreon Brown switches in my opinion. No complaints. The caps themselves are also fine, I'm not a huge fan of the font style, but I don't mind it. Overall, for the price, an easy 5 stars.

I would expect a keyboard to go through better QC than this. The i key is iintermittent. Either iit doens't work at all, or get double presses. I did not correct any mistakes made usng the key n this revew. Very dsapponted. Edit: Replacement arrived. Exact same problem, only with different keys. Key-presses don't register or are double key-presses. Multiple keys this time. Huge failure. Returning for something that actually does its job.
