Regular fluid has increased too much like most things nowadays, so I use these for much cheaper fluid. Just have to make sure I use it up before winter, or add some alcohol and/or rv antifreeze to prevent damage. Still have to use the expensive -20 to -30 degree fluid through winter, because its still cheaper than adding alcohol to tablets.

This is just as efficient as the generic liquid windshield washer fluids I typically purchase at essentially 50 the cost per gallon.

I was surprised these actually work pretty well. Couldn’t find any instructions so I used two in a half gallon jug. They bubble and dissolve like an alka seltzer tablet, turning the water deep blue. You can add alcohol for freeze protection and save $$ over premixed overpriced options. This bag will last forecer

I bought the DOKIKO 50 Pcs Car Windshield Washer Fluid concentrate Tablets,Windshield Wiper Fluid,1 Pack because I'm tired of buying and storing jugs of washer fluid that I pay 3.00 + for. I live in Florida and we have bugs of all kinds, but love bugs are the worst. I also drive a lot so I use a lot of washer fluid. I got the 50 piece pack so now 16 cents a gallon. I filled an empty 1 gallon washer jug with tap water and dropped a tab in. I checked in about 20 minutes and the tab wasn't quite dissolved so I gave it a shake and let it set for another 30 minutes and it was completely dissolved. I gave it a shake and let it set on the bench for a couple of days, no sediment of any kind in the bottom of the jug at all. My truck washer low fluid light had been on for a couple of days so I added the gallon and it brought the tank up to nearly full. I've been using for about two weeks and it works great. I have not seen any residue left on or below the windshield. If you have you have really hard water it may leave some hard water marks or spots, in which case you should use distilled water.. Also if you don't use very much washer fluid, like only fill up yearly then you would likely be better to use distilled water. If I plan to drive to cold country when it's likely to freeze I will add alcohol as I always do. You can't usually find winter mix on the shelves in Florida until the season is about over... It may not work for everyone but it works for me, and 16 cents vs 3.00 + makes sense to me.

I had no idea such a thing as washer fluid tablets even existed! It was a fluke that I even came across this product on Amazon. I was actually looking for the gallon of washer fluid and saw it was possible to make your own using these amazing tablets! The cost alone makes this an extremely cost effective item. I keep a gallon in the garage ready at all times and the tablets in my car (in case of emergencies). I am super picky with my windshield and like a REALLY clean viewing surface. These tablets now allow me to indulge in my slight obsession for a clean windshield at dirt cheap pricing.

While I have no problem with how this cleans my windshield and it’s certainly responsibly priced, one thing to be aware of is that it leaves a stubborn residue on the paint in front of of the sprayers. I had to use aggressive compound to remove the residue streaks left behind.
