Great for RV Proposal Tanks with Easy Setup
I have previously had an older version of these for my fifth wheel and decided to upgrade to this new version when we purchased our new travel trailer. These work great and are extremely useful when boondocking and needing to monitor all of you necessary supplies. I would highly recommend these and found that even though I couldn't get the leveling portion of the app to work for me they still register my volume pretty accurately. The older version I had needed to connect to an external monitor and struggled to connect. No connection issues with this one as of yet.

Great sensors to monitor my propane tanks
These sensors work very well in n my Airstream trailer with dual propane tanks. No more guessing how much propane I have. I installed the sensors on partially empty tanks and then had them filled and the sensors were accurately measuring the amount of propane in each tank. The free app works well and is easy to use. No more worrying about running out of propane and a convenient way to monitor my tanks. Would definitely buy again if needed.

These sensors are game changers
These Mopeka sensors work well and add a new level of convenience to monitoring propane levels. There was a period where this new Universal model was incompatible with the Victron Cerbo GX, but I am happy to report that this situation has been resolved. I can check the levels using the Mopeka app; and they now show up on the Cerbo as well. How far we've come from having to pop open the propane compartment and look at a gauge that may or may not be accurate. A few installation tips: — The process is very easy; however, you will be asked to position the sensor so its position appears inside a little circle that shows in the Mopeka app. I've never seen anyone successfully do this, either in person or in a YouTube video. It seems like the best one can expect is for the position indicator to be touching the little circle. Don't sweat this. Everything will still work. I ended up using a ruler to position the sensor. — My least favorite thing about this product is the fact that there is nothing to hold it in the spot that you've so carefully measured out. The sensor has pretty powerful magnets to hold it to the tank, but once you lube it up with dielectric grease it will slide around on the tank's surface. Annoying. Mopeka does offer a collar that can be stuck on the bottom of your LPG tank with 3M VHB tape to lock the sensor into position. This is what I have done. (The company makes two different collars. Make sure you get the one for LPG tanks.) — These sensors come with three little aluminum spacers designed to clip to the bottom of your tank in order to provide extra clearance. You may or may not need them. I did. These spacers can come loose. I would suggest using an adhesive/sealant to lock them in place. Also, these will definitely scratch up whatever the tank is sitting on. — For those needing spacers but not wanting to scratch up their propane tank compartment, Mopeka offers the "Halo", a plastic ring that goes on the bottom of your tank. These will also need to be attached with an adhesive/sealant if you want them to stay on. Unfortunately, these Halos offer less additional clearance compared to the free aluminum spacers. If you choose to use the collar I mentioned earlier, the Halos probably won't work for you. They didn't for me. Seems like this is something that Mopeka should have been able to anticipate. — Keep in mind that these spacers protect your Pro Check sensor when it's sitting on a flat surface. The teenage kid filling your tank can still set the tank down on an uneven surface or a rock and crush it. And if this kid drags the tank on the ground and knocks off one of the spacers, the sensor could get damaged on a flat surface. Bottom line: pay attention when someone else is handling your LPG tank. I'm tempted to deduct a star due to the incompatibility between the Mopeka Halos and the collars but this is a review of the sensor itself, so I won't. These sensors are game changers. I love them and I recommend these as the best solution for anyone with a propane tank they want to monitor. Five stars.

This new design works great
The older models gave me trouble. Placement was difficult and they would crap out all the time. I lose Bluetooth connection all the time and the sensors would shift, they were useless. Bought this one primarily because it’s a good concept and the sensors are ROUND for the bottoms of ROUND propane tanks. Seems obvious to me why on earth they didn’t design them this way on the drawing board is beyond all reasonable comprehension. This purchase has been great. They are easy to place and stay put. The Bluetooth is solid and the sensors accurate. They have a calibration setting which works great. So far the battery is over a year old and still working fine.

Mopeka Pro Check Universal propane censor. Poor engineering.
I ordered and received two of the Mopeka Pro Check Universal propane censors. They came with three aluminum spacer clips that are used if the bottom depth of your propane tank is not deep enough to except the censors. I need to install them. After installing the 1st one on the 1st tank I immediately realized they are very cheaply made. I managed to install three of them on the 1st tank. The 1st one on the 2nd tank broke immediately. I had to use double sided tape to install it. I can't imagine that they rest of them won't brake when I get the tanks filled tomorrow. Completely junk. I did get the censor installed and it was very easy to do so and pairing was also very easy. They seamed to work very well, but not knowing exactly how much propane is in the tanks, I'm not sure how accurate they are.

Fast and easy set-up. Great accuracy.
This was easy to set-up using the app and has good range using Bluetooth. I tried it on 3 different 20lb cylinders of known quantity of LPG and it read them all accurately. It sticks to the bottom fairly well, but they are rounded so it takes a few seconds to center the sensor. For my use they adhere well enough. I would not be so liberal with the grease, it only needs a dab on the sensor. This should help with movement once centered. As for replacement Mopeka grease you can buy some here on Amazon, or any silicone dielectric grease works perfect. It is the same. I am overall very pleased with this device. It is not cheap, but it's accurate and does the job well. I wasted a lot of money on inaccurate inline gauges and a scale device. The scale does work, but requires disconnection and lifting of the cylinder, and can't give you a real-time reading. Now I know at a glance where I stand gas wise.

How did I survive without this Awesome Product?
Wow! I with I had know of this product years ago. Now I don't worry about how much propane I have in my bottles, or try to guess, or using the inaccurate bottle gauges. I mounted two of these on my 20 pound propane tanks. They are magnetic and stick on the bottom of each tank. I downloaded the Free App (no service fee) and can read the tanks via Bluetooth. So Awesome and absolutely accurate. No more running out of Propane in the middle of my BBQ, or Heating the Trailer, or taking a Hot shower. Those Days are gone because I can see exactly how my propane I have. Here's another wonderful thing this product can do. You know those pesky inaccurate gauges on your Black, Grey, and Fresh water tanks. Well you can stick this on the Bottom of your Fresh or Grey tanks and get an extremely accurate indication on how full they are.

Good Quality Sensors (unlike the less expensive versions they sell)
I originally bought a cheaper version of this sensor from the same company. It did not last long and I was pretty disappointed in the quality. This “Pro” version *does* seem to be better built and has been operating reliably. I do love that I can check my tanks with my phone, since they are Bluetooth. Of course, I could wish that they were WiFi so that I could check them from anywhere, but these are perfectly serviceable and I’m glad I have them. I can recommend them.

Great product.
These Mopeka sensors work beautifully on the 20 lb tanks on my RV. I initially only purchased one, but after using it I got a second one for the other tank. Installation is simple. They are held in place with magnets. You just have to apply the provided gel to the sensor. The app assists you with level placement of the sensor. I also purchased rubber rings for the base of each tank so I can't comment on the provided metal spacers. I didn't use them. Bluetooth range is very good with the rings installed - 30ish feet. If you're installing two sensors, name your tanks and your Mopeka sensors so you can keep track of them at refill time.

no more worries
This is a small but very useful bit of kit. Isn't it everyone's nightmare guessing how much gas you have left. Not anymore once set up on your bottle it links to your phone via Bluetooth and tells you the exact percentage left. Has made a trips alot less stressful.

Works great but battery already dead.
Got this for camping. Simple to set up and works great. Happy overall with this sensor but the battery is already dead after 2 months so didn’t work on our last camping trip and we were isolated and couldn’t get another battery. Turned out ok as we never ran out of propane. However I feel the battery should have lasted longer than 2 months. So disappointed for the $100 price.

Can't fault it so far
Works brilliantly. Easy to set up but wasn't sure about leaving it totally exposed on the underlslung tank on my campervan so I made a removable cover for it. I use it with the app and it also pairs easily with the wall mounted led display. Seems very accurate.
