I was working in Alaska and asked the site manager what kind of socks he wore to keep his feet warm. He told me to buy Darn Tough Socks. They are made in America!! I had never heard of them so I ordered a pair. I was quite surprised as to how comfortable they are. I now own several pairs. I wear them year round, even when I’m working in temperatures of 100f. My feet don’t sweat and the socks don’t smell, even if I wear them for several weeks without washing them. I now give these socks as gifts to my friends and coworkers.

I am a frostbite survivor from 2013 this is the first item I’ve found to help with not only comfort but keeps me warm for what I need I’m not out more the 30 to 45 minutes at a time, these socks make that much more comfortable then anything I have found. Definitely will be getting a few more pair!

I live in Florida and wear these socks in the middle of the summer in hot and humid days. They are awesome and great for 12 plus hour days wearing them. Ive bought other cheap socks and had to replace them in 6 months. These things don't show any wear and look just like they did when i bought them.

These fit much larger than any dt sock I have. And all my socks are dt. From micro crew, 1/4s, no shows. Ultralight to extra cushion. I've always worn xl with l being just a bit tight but workable. These are massive. I guess the sizing has changed. Also these are not thick socks the heavyweight designation I guess is string thickness. They are not extra cushion like the mountain socks. they have the highest wool content you can get tho from dt. So there's that. Normally it's like 63 64 or even 50s on the lightweights. Anywho. They have a good feel, probably a great sock. Just confusing designation. And I shouldn't have to go into each sock and check wool content. My fault for thinking heavyweight meant extra cushion. I am upset about the size tho
