MINI160-Front solar electric fence

We used this to charge our electric fence we had for pigs and it didn't fail us once! We will definitely be getting more of these. Covered a nice large area and we used during the months of Sept-November and never seemed to let up once we had less sunlight.

This unit is easy to install and works great for small fences too. We installed this around our apiary and it works great!

I bought the fence charger on 5/31/2025 and it worked great until 1/27/2026. I brought the unit in to charge it since it has been bitter cold in Michigan and when I went to hook it up to the fence it did not work at all. I went back and looked at a lot of reviews that had the same problem. I tried plugging the unit in to household current and it was still dead. As a last resort I opened the battery box and disconnected the positive (red) battery wire for about ten or twenty seconds and reconnected the wire to the battery. The fence charger started working as before without any problems. So... 1. Why isn't there a simple reset button on the unit that would quickly solve the problem and 2. Why not install a simple battery strength meter or lights to indicate the charge status of the battery

Love love love! We have stubborn dogs who live to take walk abouts! We also live in the mountains, we do not have electricity near the fence line. This is perfect for charger for your electric wire. It has rained for multiple days and the charger still works! Easy set up, and amazing durability. For the money it is worth it!

It came fast, easy to set up. I have a small area that I need to keep my horses in and my gelding can be pushy. If he doesn't know the fence is on, then he won't touch it, but my friend's horses pushed through my other solar fencers and showed my herd that the line wasn't hot. So now I needed to get something with some juice to it. I love the battery back up as we are up north and we don't have alot of sun in the winter. It was hot last evening when I set it up and maxed out my tester. My gelding went right to it and decided not to push through. I got a shock on accident and I can tell you it works! I will update once I see if it worked all night and all day as it's a rainy cloudy day today.

Amazing power…it didn’t take long for my horse to figure out that eating through the fence, was a no-no! I ran only about 700’ because that’s all I needed BUT there is TONS of power to do plenty more fencing!

Works excellent

My pasture is about an acre. It does not make a powerful enough charge to stop anything.
