I used Preparation H cream my entire life. It works great (see my other review on that). Sometimes you need a little more. I use the wipes coupled with the cream. The two work well together and get me feeling back to normal in no time. I like how big the wipes are. They are also strong. As with all wipes, make sure you put them in the trash and do not flush them. If you have problems which need to be addressed, this can be a real ifesaver.

I had a tear in the tissue of my outer bum probably caused by a hemorrhoid and it was bleeding and painful. I bought the wipes first from a hghstreet chemist and used one and the pain went away immediately and it cleaned the area very well. I used a couple more just to clean the area and it healed really quickly and there was no more pain. I ordered in bulk from Amazon and will use these every day when I use the toilet as my wipes now, for me it was a massive difference to go to pain free so quickly like that.

If you are reading reviews for butt wipes, I'm sorry. I'll try and make this good for you. These wipes are great for hemorrhoids and general anal care for all the stuff that goes on down there that causes pain. I use them each time I have a BM because my rectum feels like someone drove an RV through it, jammed it in reverse and did it again. This is because I have bowel disease. Regardless of your specific issues, these are a life-saver. Value for money: The pack of three here on Amazon is a good price. Do you get embarrassed buying them in bulk? I don't. But if you do, then the Amazon Anonymity program is the way to go. Softness: Yes, they are soft enough to not cause pain, but sturdy enough to not fall apart. Scent: don't care. I find them to be neutral. Makes a good gift: Yes. If you know someone who is going to be doing a colonoscopy cleanse, they might not realize they need these. My hemorrhoids/pain is internal: you probably need the cream. I haven't talked to my doctor about any of this: you should.

these work great and for me they do not sting. when i am detoxing i have very acidic stool which sometimes causes a rash on perianal tissue, sometimes bleeds a little and also irritates previous hemorrhoids from pregnancy and childbirth. this did not sting either area and i do feel it reduced swelling and helped heal these areas. i use them after BM's during these kinds of flare ups and feel very clean afterwards. yes i use 2 together as they do appear flimsy and i really dont want to feel what is going on in that area! i will then use my shower head which is able do come down to wash myself with warm water and pat dry. then i apply various natural creams on the area. this has been my go to and with time this area heals. detoxing is not fun and it makes you break out in weird places and certainly most toxins come out in the feces.

OK, well, I'll spare you the level of detail that most of my Amazon reviews go into, but I'm a writer and hemorrhoids are a part of my life. Let's face it when you sit 15-18 hours a day and you have eaten your weight in cheeseburgers several times in your lifetime, something has to give. While these wipes are not meant to cure anything, they do provide welcome relief. There was THAT vague enough? :) By the way, if you have what they all internal hemorrhoids, as I do, the pain can be unbearable--go get a good ointment from a doctor, it's so worth that one appointment. I'm surprised my neighbors haven't call the police on me for the screaming I've done at 3 a.m. I'm a strong person, I sat through a long Shakespearean play an hour after having wisdom teeth pulled, but that pain is nothing compared to hemorrhoids. Again, these won't cure a thing, but they ummm, help a little.

These are better than any of the other brands I have purchased. I have tried Scott (which is really good), and 3 or 4 other brands. Scott and Prep-H are the ONLY TWO brands that I have tried that are COMPLETELY FRAGRANCE FREE . I am allergic to most fragrance products and these two brands meet my standards. The difference is the aloe and thickness. Prep H have aloe and they are slightly thicker than Scott brand wipes. However, if I cannot get Prep H wipes at a reasonable price, I am quite happy to purchase Scott wipes again. LOVE THE PREP-H wipes even on my grand kids.
