Great product
These worked perfectly for holding my books onto my bookshelf that has open ends. I do wish that the gripper stickers stayed on better, but that has nothing to do with the bookends themselves. I love that they’re clear so the look of the shelf isn’t ruined! And they are nice and sturdy. I bought several sets!!

BUY THESE BOOKENDS!!
My best purchase of the year. I cannot express how much I love something this simple. The are sturdy, skid-resistant and non-intrusive. I have used them on my nightstand, on my bookshelves, fireplace mantel and in my class. I cringed at the price but now know they were worth every penny.

Great product delivered in excellent condition
These acrylic bookends are truly beautiful. I agree with other reviews: it is a bit time consuming to open up the protective film. However, these films protected the bookend to be delivered in excellent condition. I bought similar bookends from another seller without the protected film, and those bookends arrived with scratches everywhere.

Lovely bookends but difficult to remove film from the acrylic surfaces.
When peeling the plastic film from the acrylic surface, the tabs broke off and i had to scratch into the the film with the side of a kitchen knife to get hold of the film and peel it off. Beautiful and sturdy bookends that I feel sure will last for years, but it took hours to get the film off of the acrylic surface, so I couldn't give five stars because of the difficulty in removing the film.

Works as intended.
Works as described. Each side of the acrylic has a tab to help you peel off the plastic. I found I had to scratch the tab onto the plastic so it can actually help pull it off. Otherwise you need a knife to peel a corner. Then you add the rubber bottoms to them. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. None arrived damaged.

Easily broken.
Just as described. Doesn’t really hold any books and easily breaks. I do not recommend to hold actual books in place.

The best option
I like that it's transparent. It literally is strong enough to hold books. An aesthetically, it doesn't ruin the bookshelf, will be buying more
