Excellent product
First time Iโve ever attempted to do my own silicone sealant and this worked a treat. Gace a smooth professional finish. Excellent product

Tricky to use
A lot trickier to use than expected and leaves very large strips. Far easier better with the smaller flatter version

Fantastic Little Tool
Handy little tool to have. I usually use the scraper type of smoothing tool, but saw this and thought I'd give it a go, and it works really well. Especially good for bridging the gap between grouting in between tiles when using silicone, so you get a nice clean bead. Just make sure you wet it down with soapy water before you use it for lubrication, and to stop the silicone from sticking to it. Also wipe any excess off as soon as it gets on there because once it dries you have no chance. I'd still have severa other smoothing tools for other jobs, but this is handy to have as well. I'd definitely buy it again.

Use a lot of sealant
You waste a lot of sealant and I mean a lot.

Makes a nice bead but block was too thick to get behind my bath taps, thinner option please

Didnโt get on with thisโฆ
Not for me, just made a mess, took off more than it left on, ended up covered in silicone. I thought it was made of a material that silicone did not adhere to, wrong impossible to get off, for me a waste of money, cleaner job using a plastic bag over a finger with soapy water. Only any good for flat straight tiles, but forget it on rippled tiles.
