A great way to control your heating systems - sorry to hear that Google will soon be removing support for them.

We didn't want to mount the NEST thermostat in our wall because we're planning some changes (removing internal walls, switching to under-floor heating etc) so I bought this so we could just put it on a shelf for now. The thermostat fits well into the stand and the power cable fits neatly coming out of the back. It isn't a cheap stand - £30 seems a bit much for just a small stand - but it works well, and the risk with buying a cheaper clone is that you're just wasting your money and will need to buy a better stand anyway.

Took a chance on this google nest without being a google integrated home and I am so happy with this! Love the intelligence and learning of your daily routine to optimise to timing and heat level. Had a 1 tech problem reconnecting once but the help screens within the app solved this first time. You can also switch it onto to recognise certain input mobile phones at your home so it recognises when you are away from home for energy saving or to come on immediately if it has been in away mode. All round I am very happy and this can be integrated across the home with google powered IT

First up, this is very steep for a chunk of injection moulded plastic. You have to use the backplate that came with the thermostat (screws to attach it to the stand are included) which was unexpected for the price, however it does come with a nice Nest branded USB brick and micro-USB cable. Also it's very nicely weighted, with a good grippy pad on the bottom, which means my rather pricey glass thermostat isn't at risk of being knocked over. Overall it's worth buying if you don't want to or can't stick your Nest to a wall, seems to have been getting better temperature readings sat on top of our hallway unit as well. Added bonus, stick Farsight in analogue clock mode and it looks like a rather posh desk clock!

It’s a plastic stand. Good for cable management. Also good as you don’t have to mains power the thermostat. Or drill it anyway. Looks good. No problems with it. Expensive for what it is. A plastic stand. But your really paying for the convenience of the above.

Bought the best to replace a wireless, non smart thermostat because my wife couldn't work it. I installed the nest on my Worcester 28i junior myself in about 1 hour after finding a how to video online. It was quite easy to install although I'm quite happy doing things like that. You will need some cable and to be comfortable with electrics. I recon a good electrician or heating engineer shouldn't take more than 1 hour to install one if it's a simple fit. Set up was pretty simple and it is now connected through our Google home app and can be controlled by voice on any of our 7 Nest speakers. It does take a few days to learn how you like the heat for it to auto schedule but it's got it about right for us and it's easy to say "OK Google, set the heat to 21 degrees" or what ever if it's colder than we want. Easy to adjust heat up or down on the thermostat manually also.

after having the nest sat on it back for a few weeks I picked this up and its actually helped with the temperature moniotring since the thermostat probe in the nest was no longer close to a cold wood surface. This looks good, does the job and is very stable. Bit pricey for what is effectively a plastic stand and a usb charger though.

I was very sceptic about Nest! Now I got 2 of them haha! Fantastic system, it will learn when to heat and when heat is not needed! You will always have nice warm house and plenty of hot water! You can control from your phone, see statistics and schedule it when and how you want it! So easy to use, it will work with your Alexa! Just say: Set heat to 23 degrees ;) perfect gadget for every house! Worth buying!

It is what it is. A stand. Seems decently sturdy and was easy enough to install. Only problem is that both units Amazon sent to me (both the original and the replacement) included a UK (Type G) plug instead of the Europlug, so I had to order it again elsewhere.

Le produit est de qualité et fonctionne. Et il a été reçu dans les temps. Mais l'adaptateur secteur fourni est pour le Royaume-Uni, pas pour la France. Il y a plusieurs signalements identiques sur cet article. Il faut qu'Amazon corrige le tire.

J'ai reçu l’adaptateur pour prise UK, et non EU. J'ai du la remplacer la remplacer.
