Great find
Husband is obsessed with grinding his own coffee now. Love that this is stainless steel. Easy to clean and fits over bigger coffee mugs too!

Best dripper out there by far!
I chose to purchase the Hario V60 to elevate my coffee brewing experience. The dripper's reputation for producing clean, flavorful coffee, combined with its design appealed to both my aesthetic preferences and desire for quality. What you'll need: Hario V60 Copper Dripper (VDPR-02-CP) Coffee beans Grinder Filter (preferably Hario V60 paper filters) Kettle Scale Timer Mug or carafe Preparation: Place the Hario V60 Copper Dripper on top of a mug or carafe. Fold the filter along the seam and place it inside the dripper. Rinse the filter with hot water to remove any paper flavor and preheat the dripper and your vessel. Discard the rinse water. Grind your coffee beans: Weigh out your coffee beans according to your desired coffee-to-water ratio. A common ratio is 1:15 (1 part coffee to 15 parts water). Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sea salt. Add coffee grounds: Place the ground coffee into the rinsed filter. Gently shake the dripper to level the coffee bed. Bloom the coffee: Start your timer and pour just enough hot water (about twice the weight of the coffee grounds, e.g., if you used 20g of coffee, pour 40g of water) to saturate the grounds evenly. Stir gently to ensure all grounds are wetted. Allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds. This helps release carbon dioxide and prepares the grounds for optimal extraction. Pour in stages: After the bloom, slowly pour hot water (about 95-98°C or 200-205°F) in a circular motion over the coffee grounds. Begin pouring from the center and spiral outward, keeping the water level consistent but never completely covering the coffee grounds. Aim to finish pouring within 2-3 minutes, depending on the amount of coffee you're brewing. Finish brewing: Once you've poured all the water, let the coffee drip through the filter until it's finished dripping (the total brew time should be around 3-4 minutes). Serve and enjoy: Carefully lift the dripper off the mug or carafe and discard the used filter and coffee grounds. Pour the brewed coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy your freshly brewed cup!

great stuff
bottom rubber (silicone?) makes it stable. Just perfect. Japanese companies know what the greatness mean!! Little pricey, but worth it.

Durable
Coffee taste is good. I think porcelain is better but i broke 2 or 3 v60 in the past. This one is good it wont break and coffee comes out good as well. I would stay away from plastic.

Great for travel
I used a ceramic V60 for years until it finally kicked the bucket and broke. I do miss the ceramic feel (I think it holds the heat a little better), but this one has been doing a good job. It looks great. I like the silicone bottom it helps keep it from slipping and sliding. It operates like any other Hario V60. I'd recommend this one for travel and if you have kids that like to break things :)

Great coffee dripper!
This is my favorite contraption to brew coffee! I was using a glass pour-over carafe, but they kept getting dropped on the floor or knocked into the sink. (yay cats!) This dripper gives me the taste quality of a pour-over, while being easier to clean and keep safe. It’s the perfect size for one-two cups of coffee, and the rubber support helps it work with almost every size of coffee mug. Be careful, if the support isn’t all the way on the dripper, it can cause some weird leakage. That said, it’s an easily avoidable issue. Overall: I love this product. Totally worth the price point!

Good quality / durable
Great dripper. I use it everyday. I got it because I didn't want to use the plastic v60 as I still want to be fertile when I decide to have kids. If you don’t believe me look up Shanna Swan and her research. The other reason I like that it’s metal is because of the heat retention and durability. I hope it lasts me for a long time and I suspect it will.

Completely Disappointing - Avoid at all costs
This product is completely disappointing in a variety of ways. To start, like many other reviews have noted, this product is not really made of copper, but instead copper plated on the outside with a nickel plating on the inside. A misleading move from the manufacturer to label this as copper to try to upsell the product as different from the metal version although they are essentially the same product. Functionally, it appears that this product is the same as the metal version. My main issue with this product, misleading aside, is the build quality being so low. To start, the product came out of the box with brown staining (akin to rust, it seems) on the interior nickel plating. The interior nickel plating has also begun peeling off after less than one month of use. Not heavy use, might I add - this product was used five times a week. After the first use, the product also immediately collected water stains that make the interior plating look rather unpleasant. The performance is fine, but completely unremarkable from the regular metal version. As a tip to anyone coming from a ceramic or plastic version, there is an adjustment period in terms of flavor due to the higher conductivity/differences of heat retention of the metal version compared to ceramic/plastic. Overall, for double the price of the metal version, this is a total disappointment. It is a nice decoration, as it is a beautiful piece aesthetically. However, upon beginning to use it you will notice an immediate deterioration of the product. Do not recommend.
