Splitting Axe XL, Solid, With Blade and Transport Guard

Recently had a very large black willow tree cut down and needed a proper wood chopping axe to split the large chunks of wood. some of the wood from the tree was far too large for my wood splitter so I need something that was going to be easy to use And and get the job done. Pros They axe is very well-made has an extra long handle which is great to be able to get more swing on the wood. The axe head is designed so it doesn’t get stuck in the log, which is great for a woman to use. It’s not the lightest of axe’s but because of the weight of the head it makes swinging it a lot easier. It made the chopping process so much easier than my traditional axe. Cons Not really a lot to say here about this axe I couldn’t really find any problems with it at all. The only thing I would say is because I was using a very large round log as a base to chop the other logs on my Gravel Drive if I missed the log which sometimes I did and the axe hit the Gravel Drive I found that I had to re-sharpen the axe, but that’s basically my fault for not having a good aim.

Incredible!

Fantastic Fiskars all I can say made splitting good exercise rather than back breaking and frustrating

Beast of an ace

Cracking axe

Great splitting axe well worth the money

Makes the labour of log splitting a whole lot easier. The best small investment I’ve made for quite some time.

great axe lighter weight than i'm used to but quite sharp for a spliting axe, Not sure about the hollow handle but time will tell

Perfekt!
