IRWIN Tools STRAIT-LINE Chalk Line, Classic Reel, Blue, 100ft (IWHT48441BC)

So far, so good. For some reason, I kept putting off getting a chalk line because I didn’t think I really needed one, but I’m glad I finally did. This chalk line has come in handy, allowing me to make straighter cuts with my circular saw, especially the long cuts. It’s really nice to have a solid, straight line all the way across whatever you’re cutting. The chalk bottle did come about halfway full, but I didn’t mind since chalk is relatively cheap to buy. The tip stuck nicely to the plywood I was cutting, and I experienced zero problems while using it.

Works so easily. Just fill it with the provided powder, pull out the string over the area wanting to mark, and pluck it so it hits the area. Well made

Nice Chalk line. I have needed one for a while. It holds quite a bit of chalk and seems pretty durable. Blue chalk is what I've always seens used so not sure about color variety! lol

I am a beginner builder, well, let be honest......I don't build anything. But here I am taking on a chicken coop biukd like she-woman. So, no surprise I can't draw or measure a straight line to save my life. Nor do I have the tools or equipment required. Insert the chalk line. It was delivered the next day, was easy to fill, worked great, nice blue line, not leakage and should be useful around here. Great price.

Doesn't work as well as I wanted. It takes a lot of chalk to get it loaded. It's awkward to pull because the handle gets blocked by your hand unless you hold it just right. It does not pull very smoothly but it does wind back up manually pretty well. It doesn't snap very strongly to get a good line. The goal is a straight line and with 2 people , you can likely get that.

Works great. Need to run it out a few times then refill the chalk.
