My son got this as a fourth birthday present. It utterly grabbed him and was a firm favourite for a few months, so now am purchasing one for a friend's fourth birthday. I just wanted to add a positive review because this book deserves a lot of them. It's one of those books that stood out and that I imagine my son will remember even when he's well out of the target age group.

Mr Chicken Goes to Paris
Bought this for my 6 year old who had seen Leigh Hobbs at the Cheltenham Literacy Festival. It's really well written and he loves the fab drawings of Paris.

My 5 yr old son really loves this book. I thought this would be a fun story to read leading up to our Paris vacation and it's a hit! The humor is dry and probably more suited for older kids but the illustrations and hilariously huge Mr Chicken finding his way, practicing his French and climbing the Eiffel Tower to avoid the line made up for that. Funny book!

I purchased the book and toy for my daughter for book week. She is obsessed with all things Mr Chicken. The toy is really good quality and the book is one of the smaller sized books. We love the Mr Chicken story and currently have the Rome and London books. We love the Paris story just as much. We are also hoping to buy the Australia book. This is the perfect book for a stocking stuffer for ages 3+.
