LittleLife Rainy Day Cover

Anyone that has a LittleLife baby carrier (Our is Freedom Child Carrier) will know that whilst they are fantastic for carrying the little one, the rain protection could be a lot better. Well this cover gives the protection you would expect to the point that when I pulled it out of the packaging I thought it looked like a bio-hazard suit!! Its really fantastic addition (just a shame it didn't come with our carrier).It fits in place of the shower cover and has a zip up front window with a lower vent that can be completely rolled and held up with toggles once the rain has eased. The whole cover has an elasticated band which keeps it in place around the main carrier, covering the child completely but leaving carry straps free.The "metal coat hangar" frame that you get with the original shower cover makes way for a more robust tubular snap together system and the entire lot can be wrapped up into its own pouch when not in use and is small enough to fit in the bottom zip part of the carrier over the anchor point.Buy it.

My little girl loves her littlelife back pack, we use it most of the time. Now we have the rain cover, which fits perfectly to the cross country s2, we can use it even more. The little window at the front, rolls up, when it's not heavy rain, so she can see out. The rain cover packs away much smaller than I expected which means it fits easily into the pocket underneath, leaving plenty of room for all the other stuff we end up carrying in there.

To be honest it's not a great fit on my little life adventurer. It always pings off where it attaches via elastic in front of my daughter... Any suggestions for stopping this? I tucked it under the adjustment straps on the shoulders but it's a pain as I have to undo (as in pull out the buckle fixing not just un clip it) these straps ever time I get her in and out the carrier.

Tested this weekend. Scored it like this :Easy to assemble, 5/5.Weight, light 5/5Bulk, reasonable (fits in the baby bag)Cost 3/5Components, mainly solid 4/5Cover is good, let down by cost and the light aluminium frame that holds it up. This will break in less than a year of solid use I am totally sure. But I bet I could make a substitute with some duct tape and a bit of hanger.

Haven't tried it in the rain just yet, but it's a great wind/stick break.Easy to assemble and use. It appears to fit all their packs, as it is a tad bigish for an ultralite.

The LittleLife Rainy Day cover ticks the box as a rain cover.That's the positive's out of the way.The three piece metal bar that forms the bent U-shaped structure of the cover is a little fiddly to fit and is best prepared in a less stressful environment than a dark rainy evening.My 20 month old son cried so much when we tried fitting it to the LittleLife carrier that we decided his waterproof clothing was adequate.£30-ish that we didn't need to spend.We'll keep it for emergency use only.

Very well designed, we use the pack frequently and in all weather so this is essential for us to keep our child appropriately protected. I like the roll up front feature and the ventilation for when it is rolled down, our child loves being in the pack and on some terrain a buggy would not be practical so this solves a lot of problems for us.

Brilliant product. When fitted keeps little one completely covered & protected. Not quick to fit so attach before rain gets too heavy.
