IMS Trading Natural Fiber Sponge, 2 Count

We have used these for years. They clean well and don't really scratch. They last for a while and I think they are well made. It is easy to clean them out before setting aside as well and I have never had a lasting smell from them. I think we buy some more every half year or so, but that is just because the wife doesn't like looking at discoloration and\or cleaning knives and such takes it's toll eventually. They could likely last longer...

I never thought I would get excited about a SPONGE, but these are really great! They are very soft, and pliable, even when dry, unlike a traditional sponge, and the fibers make it feel like the hook side of Velcro and they do a good job of scrubbing, yet are soft enough that they do not scratch. Best of all, it doesn't start to smell awful, after a few days. I am ordering more, as soon as I finish this review. We have a cabin, in the mountains, and I want to take some there.

These are my ultimate favorite scrubbers. I buy them all the time. Got my daughter hooked also.

I love, love, love these sponges. As crazy as it sounds, I can actually be a sponge snob if there is such a thing. Originally, the only place that I could find these was at Home Goods and lucky for me, Amazon started to sell them. I cannot say enough about these sponges. They last a long time, but I also will soak it in an oxygen booster once a week. This not only keeps the sponge white, but more importantly, it sanitizes it perfectly.

I've been buying these for a few years. I like that they're made of natural material, so when I do throw them out, I don't feel so bad about their going into landfill. Gives a really good scrub with no scratching. They do tend to get black mold over time (few months) even though I put them in a place where they get cross ventilation. But most synthetic sponges will either wear out or get stinky during the same time frame and need to be thrown out. I suppose one could bleach them periodically and they might last much longer. Hate dealing with bleach so haven't tried it!
