Does what it should. It is made from thinner metal (17 ga) than similar products on Amazon (14 ga) but the way the panels are stamped make it feel just as rigid and shouldn't be a problem. It comes with spacers and longer M4 bolts which is very useful given how deeply recessed the mounting plates are on monitors these days. Regarding the blocking of ports. There are some reviews that claim that this blocks exhausts or ports. This is not true, and it means they installed one side backwards or wish to have one end opened for easy post-install insertion or removal. The only issue I can see is that it will not work with a Mac Mini which has an optical drive (Mid 2010 or earlier). Ultimately, I decided to go with the cheaper product because its cheaper and is compatible with my older Mac Mini which I may use this mount with in the future.

This mounted on the back of my monitor perfectly. It got the mini off of the desktop and made it more functional.

Great product for the price. Only issue is there needs to be something in place to prevent the Mac from sliding out. After moving the monitor around a few times, I noticed my Mac mini was starting to slide out. Otherwise great.

I was super excited to when I received this mount when I ordered my new monitor. However, I was disappointed when I realized that I would not be able to use it. It is no fault of this mount or it's manufacturer, it's the location of the inputs on the monitor. After mounting this, which was easy to do, I noticed that I could not be able to plug in the HDMI or DP since this mount blocks them. I tried to use spacers to provide more room but it just wasn't enough. I am not returning since I think this an awesome mount and will use it with a different set up. As long as you don't have inputs right next to the VESA mount, this thing is solid and awesome!

Works perfectly to hold the Mac mini and allow the stand to mount onto the unit.

Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of this product. I was, however, slightly disappointed that there were only four nuts to accompany over double the number of screws. Sure, the four that came with the product were used to affix the removable faceplate; however, my use case involved mounting the box to a VESA mount instead of directly to the backside of my monitor. It would be advisable to clarify in the product description that a self-supporting or separate VESA is not included.

This design of this mount will cause blocked ports for a Mac Mini. I originally decided to live with it and mount it in the opposite direction so only the heat exhaust is slightly blocked, but when doing that it is not as sturdy. The mac mini would wobble and I put some velcro which made it better, but I decided I should not be making compromises for a product that is already highly priced. Also, thinking long-term, if you want to remove you Mac Mini and do some work on it, you can't just grab it and slide it out, you have to undo the hardware which is a pain. Returned the item and bought a Vivo.

Works exactly as advertised. Goes perfectly well with my Ergotron Vesa mounted to my 49" Samsung G9 monitor.

No es compatible con monitores que tengan los puertos de entrada trasera. Solo es puertos con entrada lateral. Si es monitor con puertos de entrada laterales es ideal.

El accesorio indispensable para un setup minimalista. Oculta el Mac mini detrás del monitor y el escritorio queda completamente libre de cables y demás accesorios, algo que necesitaba porque conecto tres computadoras al monitor y el escritorio comenzaba a parecer mesa de reparaciones. Lo coloqué en un soporte con configuración VESA y queda perfecto. El único inconveniente que encontré fue que los tornillos preinstalados del soporte no vienen muy bien pulidos o el trabajo en el torno no fue adecuado, así que hay que utilizar unas pinzas para apretar las tuercas (tuercas incluidas). Por lo demás, todo perfecto. Muy resistente y ligero. Eso sí, el Mac y la base agrega peso al soporte por lo que hay que considerarlo en las capacidades de carga del mismo. Mi monitor es de 27 pulgadas y veo que ya le costó trabajo aguantarlo, pero lo hizo.
