It may be too early to tell but after three weeks of pool opening, I think its past the test. I love the ability to simple sections very easily to give a shorter pole. It still telescoping but when you really need reach, just attach the extra poles (comes with two separate extensions) or if you want an extremely short pole for side scrubbing, the three telescopic sections shrink down to under 5 feet. The pole drains better than any other high dollar pole that I've had so it is much lighter and easier to bring up and down. The 'turn-and-lock' seems to hold well - no slipping and it can hold some weight. Seems strong while light weight. And as a bonus, the separate poles can be used as individual poles or combined together for a medium reach pole that work with most pool tools. Good for skim netting. Your getting a second pole. So don't just take my opinion, just buy one and get busy.

Works great. Good value. Very durable and perfect length. Easily as good as ones bought at the pool store for twice the price. Makes cleaning the pool easy.

Overall, this pool pole rod is pretty solid—it feels sturdy, reaches a good length, and works well for skimming and vacuuming. However, the main issue is that it tends to get stuck when fully extended. Adjusting the length can be frustrating, especially when you're in the middle of cleaning. If the locking mechanism were smoother or more reliable, it would be an excellent product. Still usable and better than some cheaper options, but could use a design tweak.

I had it fully extended with an entire big bottom skimmer net full of wet leaves that didn't goop that had been in there for the whole winter and it held it fully extended all the way out like that about broke my shoulder but didn't bend definitely high quality

I love this telescoping pool pole! It easily telescopes out as I brush towards our deep end. It works perfectly with the tool set we also purchased. It’s lightweight and easy to push through the water without difficulty. It occasionally sticks when I try to break it down sometimes but other than that it’s perfect.

this thing is awesome. I use it all the time , for thr brush an skimmer basket only issues I have is the extended back half that it has gets stuck when I go to close it. but a suddle tap on the deck an she closes right up. very handy an with my pool i need the extra alot.

I bought my husband an expensive pool leaf vacuum for Christmas but when he tried it once the pool was open, the flimsy plastic pole didn't even go deeper than the entry stairs. I looked online and found this pole to replace it. Yes, it fits the leaf vacuum. Yes it is very long. Yes it is sturdy.

Sturdy, just what we wanted. The old one was tattered and most of the replacement alternatives were flimsy. This one is great.
