We've been looking for steps into the lake from our dock for a while now. The steps that the dock company sells are $1750! With the coupon, these were $89! This price difference set my expectations pretty low, but for that price it was worth a shot. We are very pleasantly surprised at how good these turned out to be. We got the 4 step version as our distance fron the top of the dock to the lake bottom is 42 inches. The steps have adjustable feet and I used them, plus a couple of pavers, to level them. I had to drill 2 holes in the angle pieces at the top to secure them to our dock with the dock's rail system and they are very solid. Pros: Price is shockingly low. Good sturdy design (my 275lb cousin uses them all the time). Easy assembly (took a little longer than normal because I wanted them to work with the dock rail system). Easily adjustable with leveling feet. The set I received had ridges/tread in the extruded aluminum steps as opposed to non-skid stickers (nice surprise). Cons: Steps are not very deep. Railings are a little loose by design, but work and are safe. I would highly recommend these steps!

Strong, straightforward assembly. Ladder appears to be well made with hefty welds. This product is represented well and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Given the price of these stairs, I was blown away by their quality. They are extremely sturdy, and they make it easy and safe for people to get into and out of the water from my deck, especially my grandchildren. Assembly took time and patience, but the end product was well worth it. These steps far exceeded my expectations. Just be sure to measure the depth from your deck or dock to the lake bottom to make sure you order the right size.

These are a great value for the money! (Price these elsewhere!) They’re good quality, easy to assemble and gave us access to the shallow end of our dock. The only downside to them is the stairs are narrow. We purposely bought these for our old dog because he no longer can climb up the banking, but the angle is too steep and the stairs are too narrow. This being said, these are still a good value for the money. I wish there were a wider stair option.

Very durable and light weight product. Using it to climb up into the military shelter on the back of my 5 ton truck during hunting season. The treads make it feel safe no matter how much mud is on hunting boots.

This is a very high quality set of aluminum stairs. I received the steps with the ribbed treads instead of the grip tape. That is good because that's what I wanted. As a bonus it is painted , which will be nice for saltwater use.

We love these stairs and bought quite a few of the 6 stairs; however, this one, the 4 stair, has some really bad welds making assembly very difficult! There is excess welding in the area where a part is inserted for the legs and uprights for rails. We cannot put these parts in place and need to hire a handyman with appropriate tools to repair it for us.
