Here's a compendium of the plasticine duo's first four cracking capers: A Grand day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, and A Matter of Loaf & Death. It's surely impossible to remain mirthless in the face of Park's bonkers little sitcoms, outlandish adventures, hilarious script and sight gags, with Peter Sallis's inimitable delivery. These little movies are wondefully presented and although brief, each took longer to realise that most full-length Hollywood blockbusters. Editing, lighting sound-effects and script are all spot-on. It's not entirely complete, but these first four are the core. My personal favourite is The Wrong Trousers; it always seems to me that Park got the formula just right with this one after his first, rather experimental Grand Day Out. It's hard to believe they've been going since 1989. And there'll be no more to come; old Peter Sallis says he's just no longer up to the task of doing more voice-overs, so unless Wallace finds a new and younger voice (what travesty!) then this is it. I got this as a stocking-filler prezzie for one of my great neices. It is a good, clear recording, it arrived promptly, and gave plety of Christmas laughs.

I've been very down lately and needed something to watch that was fun, escapist and brilliant. What else could I order than this DVD? A special edition too no less. I've watched it over and over as the skill of the storyline, the characters and the entire production continues to blow me away. I've even watched those behind the scenes video to see how they do it, and it's utter magic. The stories are fresh and funny, the characters endearing and the jokes and humour - brilliant, brilliant, brilliant There's never a dull moment in the stories, the attention to detail is mindblowing and I'm not surprised the team behind it have won several awards. If I had one to dish out, I'd give them an award myself. This has been the best medicine I could have hoped for.

The Dvds were very entertaining, the price was good, the only downside was that it was not a complete selection as there is another wallace and gromit film, none of the sets advertised as the complete collection seemed to include it, it may be that someone else has the rights to that film, but nonetheless advertising it as a complete collection when it isn't is inaccurate at best.

This is a present so I am not able to tell you the quality etc, but I can say the item arrived fast and well packaged. Also communication was perfect with clear instructions.

There is no need to write a review on the content of this item as there's enough positive reviews already out there. So I'll review just the product. Great value for money. There's no fancy extras (except sub-titles) and the three 'shorts' and one feature film contained therein are A1 entertainment. The menu can be a bit tricky to navigate at first but it only adds to its charm. Despite its title, it is obviously no longer 'complete' as it omits both the W & G Adverts and "Curse Of The Were Rabbit". Nevertheless, it is excellent value for money, and unless you already have all the films. it's well worth buying in order to see yet again these pure gems of British invention. 5 star entertainment "for children of all ages".

For anyone who is a fan of the Wallace and Gromit short films this is a great combo set. It has A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Matter of Loaf and Death. It is important to note that this is not a DVD that can be played here in Canada unless you have UNLOCKED THE REGION SETTING ON YOUR DVD PLAYER - this is an available option on some but not all DVD players here. If you can unlock the region settings then this is such a fabulous price ( $10 compared to $50 for a Canada version). I am delighted to own this set - I love the whole premise of Pater Sallis ( Last of the Summer Wine) character with all his inventions - mostly rescued from disaster by his able companion Gromit the dog. It's a pleasure to watch something other than animated shorts and any fans of Shaun the Sheep will be able to see Shaun in his first incarnation in these movies.

Squisitissimo bluray di tutti i corti di Wallace e gromit. Inglese vero, facilmente comprensibile (la cosa può renderlo quindi un regalo sia utile che dilettevole). Un ottimo sostituto della mia vecchia VHS, qui si vedono persino le impronte digitali sulla plastilina!

An excellent collection now in high definition. Highly recommend to everyone.

内容自体はまったく問題なし。ただ英国仕様なので、日本のDVDプレーヤーとリージョンが違います。うちでは結局iMacでのみ観れています。
