Ofargo Plastic Turkey Injector

Used it to inject my turkey and it came out supper delicious and juicy it’s very sharp so be careful but it’s great quality and works really well

bought this for use injecting meats for smoking on my pellet grill, used first time at thanksgiving on a turkey baked in oven, worked great, juiciest turkey I have ever cooked (including the breast)! also, this has a very handy thin brush to clean inside the injection tips and it works great too.

Feels pretty high quality, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The needles are sharp, the plastic feels thick and durable, and it all packs into itself in a really nice way for storage. Very happy with it, especially for the price.

This is it if you want excellent basting. Good quality. Makes meat tasty. Several options of injecting. I haven't seen that around. I looked. I saw one while on an hour long line at TJMaxx. Not even close to as good. It's a keeper. My chicken's hooked.

This arrived on time and exactly as described. Came with two needles, an extra seal and a cleaning brush. All items can store inside of itself. Compact and easy to use.

Seems to be made of good materials, hard plastics and metal. No leaks from any of the seal points. The needles were a good size and easily pierced the turkey breast I was attempting to add seasoned butter to. My issue is that I could not get the injector to actually inject the seasoned butter into the meat. I am new to injecting meats but could not get it to work. I sprayed the injector with non stick spray first then loaded the soft room temp seasoned butter into the tube. The seasoning in the butter had small pieces of garlic that kept getting stuck inside the needle and prevented anything from getting out. I tried warming the butter so it was more liquidy but pieces of the seasoning still got stuck and no injection happened. I’m quite disappointed since this was for a Thanksgiving turkey breast. It seems well made since the injector held up to quite a bit of pressure trying to get the butter out. However, the needles could probably be a bit larger to handle dried minced garlic. It will probably do fine with seasoning smaller than minced garlic. 4/5 stars for quality but 3 stars overall for function or lack thereof for my specific needs.

I did follow the instructions, by rubbing a bit of cooking oil inside the inner parts of the syringe to avoid breaking the device and make it smooth to inject. But even with those precautions, when I was about to inject my Ham and Turkey this season, it broke -- the juices were spraying through the sides. -- It broke barely on the first injection. It split open on both sides of the syringe. I think I got a faulty one, because I do expect this thing to last me a few more uses than one use. -- I used it last year (one day), cleaned it, and stored it away for the next holiday season. They ought to send me a new one, and at least one a bit more robust, that is if they stand behind their products. We'll see... UPDATE: The company contacted me after writing my review (above), and they sent me a replacement within a couple of days. It's great to know they "do" stand behind their products and are willing to make the customer happy. For that, I've updated my "one star" rating to "five stars". Good job!

Très utile pour humidifier la viande en interne. Facile à nettoyer et ne fuit pas.

I love this. It is reasonably priced but greater quality than the price might indicate. Sturdy and effective, with useful written hints on its use.
