Excellent solution
My dogs snapped the threed arm off my sewing machine and my friend suggested on of these. Works like a dream, and holds the large spools which came in super handy for piecing together a quilt!

Just what I needed
Working great! Easy to put together. Came with an unneeded nut, caused slight confusion

Looks flimsy but works
At first I thought this was a little flimsy but after using it to make a Sunbrella instrument panel cover for a sailboat it worked just fine. Perfect for the large spool of teflon coated thread you need to sew Sunbrella fabric that take a lot of sun exposure.
