I knew by the brand name this would be a quality weather radio but I am over the moon about it.Easy to use with no assembly to speak of... This thing can be silent or wake up the heavy sleeper.It's a quality build and functions beautifully. The red flashing strobe is the masterstroke.Clean, crisp, clear sounds and easy tuning at a very reasonable price.What's not to love?

Very impressed. Excellent pickup of NWS Riverhead, NY, station in southwest Conn. Alert alarm works perfectly, including weekly tests and real advisories. Replaced a very old Midland weather radio. Setup is straight forward, but requires closely following the enclosed instructions. Alarm is loud enough to wake you up, which is what's needed most.

This radio is perfect, easy to use and understand. It doesn’t take up much space and I live in a rural area and the signal and alerts have been very clear. Very pleased with my purchase

I live in southwest Kansas. The weather here can be dangerous. Programmed ot exactly according to directions. Called the 800# to get all the right codes. Reception is terrible. We had severe storms 2 days later, my phone was going nuts on alerts, and this weather radio never made a sound! Junk!

Works great! Easy to set up and easy to find the proper channels. We use this for camping and keep it in our camper.

The radio was nice and very easy to program, It stoped working after one day and I opted to get a different radio brand. The speaker volume for the unit was not very loud. I did like the fact an external ateenna and an external light warning light was included in the price! The alerts are programable, so you can only get notified to the alerts your want. I my case I only wanted life threating notifications (boil water, evacuation, chemical spill, etc.) The radio does not have a battery power indicator, to let you know the staus of the back-up batteries.

The weather radio works very well, My previous weather radio had very poor reception and the resulting audio was very weak and garbled. This radio has multiple channels, clear audio and a good display. There are many more capabilities that I haven't even tried yet.
