Dexcom G7 Over Patches - Waterproof 25-Pack Dexcom Stelo & G7 Over Patches with Reusable Hardshell Cover, Latex-Free, Hypoallergenic, Long-Lasting, Breathable (TAN)

Very satisfying they stay stuck on for the time it needs to easy to remove after shower will buy again

These are the best overpatches I've tried so far. Most only stay on for 3 or 4 days, some peel up and fall off sooner than that. These stay put for the entire 10 day run of the dex7 sensor. I got the puppy/kitten/lion/unicorn ones. They are really cute. The plastic hardshell works well to protect the sensor and doesn't interfere with the signal to my pump and controller. My only issue is that its hard to unstick the shell from the patch, and easy to forget to do that when changing sensors. I wish they would also sell multi packs of the hardshells on amazon too. I've only used 5 stickers and already lost the shell. I'm bound to do it again, so taking the one out of the next package won't solve the problem. $14 for a sample pack of a few patches and 2 shells is a bit pricey but I'd pay that for a pack of 8 or 10 shells to have spares handy.

I really like the over patches. Colors are great and for me the best feature is the hard cover that goes over the monitor. If I have to remove the patch for some reason the cover helps prevent pulling out the sensor. The patches last the lifetime of the sensor and are water proof. I’ve not been to the beach with it yet which will be the real test but I am very pleased so far.

Pros- Great water proofing, durable, great adhesive helps stay in place, stops sensor bumping peeling off or from coming out even without using the cap cover. (Better coverage without cap cover), once placed on it won't shift. (Must prep all skin area with alcohol prior to placement and not touch adhesive area of sticker with fingers because the natural oils and possible dirt on your hands will stop the adhesive from adhering properly to applied area.) Breathable fabric for skin and hypoallergenic didn't cause skin irritation at all. Doesn't stretch or misshape so has less bubbling or creasing when applying evenly onto skin unlike plastic type patches.Cons- cap cover is not necessary it has better coverage and seals better without it, frays after about a week, edges will start to peel after fraying starts within 7 days so not ideal for 15 day sensor due to the adhesive in center, adhesive being in the center henders removal if miss aligned or needs to replace early. And can cause sensor to come out if not extremely careful and hold sensor in place while removing the patch.Extra notes- can be used in addition to the patches that originally come with sensors or without but better with for precaution. I've always used it with the patches that come with my Dexcom g7 10 &15 day sensors test out the durability of the waterproofing and helps if you have to remove the patch before it is time to remove your sensor by helping the sensors stay in while removing the patch if necessary.

While aesthetically pleasing, these cover patches do not stick well. I typically get 3-4 days use out of each patch before needing to replace them. I do shower every morning do I am not sure if that is a contributory factor in why they don’t seem to last the full 10 days that the G7 sensor does. They also seem to fray a bit on the edges rather quickly. I will probably look for a different type/brand for my next purchase. I do like the hard shell that protects the sensor from being bumped off. This gives it an extra measure of protection.

My son fell in love with these the minute he seen these being new to Diabetes he has taken it like a champ. He was bumping the G7 sensor and causing it to fail. I seen these patches and showed him and he wanted them. Well after getting them he was so happy and wanted to immediately put one on. He said they are so cool. I will for sure being buying more of them.

very pleased with the product -- I especially like the round dome cover - is awesome provides a nice smooth area over the sensor so I am not catching it on clothes, etc. I shaved my upper arm, cleaned it well with alcohol and let it dry, then used the extra stick stuff on my arm ( sorry don't know name) applied the sensor, then the plastic cover disk, then the fabric. Still sticking really, really well, 7 days later. Minimum fraying around the edges, 7 seven showers later. Occasionally I get an itch at the sensor, and when I absentmindedly reach over to scratch as soon as I hit the domed cover, I stop, Very pleased. Would love some solid color covers or dogs.... but I bought the assortment to try this brand AND it had 2 plastic cover, so it was a good deal. I too am in South Texas, and real feel is 100+ outside every day. Worked in the yard last 2 days in afternoon and it still sticking. UPDATE - 10 days later - sticker and cover made it thru entire 10 days of sensor. Did pull up a little toward the back of my arm on day 9 or so -- but not so much that I needed to remove or change it. Was really stuck on still on day 10. That may be with use of Skin Tac -- but between Skin Tac and this cover bandage it made it the whole 10 days with no issues. Very pleased with performance of the skicker/cover and plastic cap guard for sensor.

We're excited to receive these. They look nice and the fabric is sturdy. However after utilizing my few of them since I ordered, i have come to the conclusion that they are a poor fit and do not stay on for more than a few days. The other issue is that part of it peeled away and stuck to itself. When I attempted to remove it gently, it caused my sensor to lift and therefore fail. They do not fit reasonably around the edges and they crinkle up with just normal showering, after a few days. I would not buy this product again. Feeling disappointed.

These are very sturdy, they don’t peel off, they last the full 10 days on my G7. I feel more comfortable with this overpatch as it seems to keep the CGM in place especially when your getting dressed and undressed, I no longer catch the CGM. Great product. The overpatch in the picture is after 5 days and it’s still sticking ver well. There is a bit of fraying on the edges but it’s not peeling off at all.

Works great for my g7 skin. Used it on a hot holiday, in sun, sweating and while snorkelling for hours. No issues if put on correctly (no ripples)... stays on well for the full 10 days. Does leave a tan line lol

Works well when you listen to the instructions- not to get wet for at least 6 hours after applying. I got the random pack- minus one star because half of them were American AF and not cute. It was all beachy ones and Stars and Stripes. This is after a week. The edges are lifting a little but for a week of showers it’s pretty good.

Looked like a great product BUT it was surprised how large they were for a child, I returned this product

Review after a couple of months of use. The included hard cap did not prevent false lows at night which was the primary reason I wanted to use this product. The patch itself is quite good, but I did not find the plastic hard cap to be that useful. Plus it gets very dirty after 10 days of use and is not easy to clean.
