Bullhide Belts Stitched Max Thickness 38 black

I've owned one other gun belt but prefer this one. Holes are spaced 3/4" instead of 1" apart. I love my old belt except that one inch holes made it hard to adjust for a really good fit. I also like the more squarish (typical) belt buckle over the basic buckle. It has some style rather than scream gun belt. The roller on the buckle that helps when drawing the belt through the buckle works great and I really wanted that feature again. I debated between the spring steel model and this one. The leather on my previous belt was also very stiff and held my 1911 quite comfortably. However, over time as the leather became more pliable and after 5 years of daily use (lots of physical work) it does not perform the job of carrying a heavy load quite as effectively. Don't get me wrong here, the old belt is still very serviceable and will last forever. It's like new hiking boots - they're so nice compared to the old ones, but neither are like wearing tennis shoes for backpacking. I think the spring steel would hold up indefinitely and would be additionally supportive for heavy loads and gear, but I in the end I wanted something less "duty". As expected, Craftsmanship is excellent! When the belt arrived I immediately swapped it out for the old one and haven't looked back! I instantly preferred the closer spacing of the holes in the belt and also prefer the position and look of the buckle once the belt is on. I'll be curious to see how bullhide holds up and may consider other heavy leather choices in a future belt. I'm a happy packin' camper!

If you’re looking for a conceal carry belt for your OWB holster this a good one. I carry a Colt Python and it holds it up well.

Most of the belts I have bought in the past have fallen apart after only a year or two. I can tell this belt will last me a hell of a lot longer. I don’t mind paying for quality and this is it. As soon as you wear the belt for the first time you can feel the difference. Now that I have experienced the quality and feel of a full leather belt, I won't buy my belts from anywhere else.
