Works better than competitors, seems very secure
I had problems with another keypad flash drive (looking at you, DiskAshur) which refused to stay mounted more than a few minutes on my computer. Very annoying. This Kingston has had no such problem. The Kingston has a little battery which allows the user to enter the password before plugging it in, while the DiskAshur has to be plugged in to enter the password.

Any complaints come from tech illiterate
I’ve purchased two of these Kingston IronKey keypad 200 drives, one with USB-A in 64 GB and one with USB-C in 128 GB and they really are phenomenal to use, plenty intuitive, and very secure in my experience. I also bought the Apricorn on 8 GB to test it out and it’s essentially a clone of this Kingston drive however, I can say I prefer the Kingston IronKey to the Apricorn due to build quality, although they are very close in comparison, and the more updated protection the Kingston model has over the particular Apricorn I purchased. That may not still be the case so compare specs. I read several reviews on this IronKey and, unfortunately, nearly all of the complaints I read were from users who are having a hard time comprehending and using the technology and need a bit of hand holding through the setup and use process. It’s pretty obvious that many of them are memorizing the steps in the instructions to lock/unlock/read/write with this drive instead of understanding how it functions and the meaning behind the feedback it provides through its blinking or steady combinations of blue, red, and green lights. I’m not sure most of those users understand the difference in the drive being locked and charging, unlocked in read/write, unlocked in read only, unlocked in admin, or locked and in setup mode. Personally, I find this drive very easy to use and understand the mode it’s in. The instructions were simple and straightforward. I only wish the Kingston IronKey was made in the U.S. or basically anywhere other than China.

Great for saving all your passwords you don't want stolen
Great, worked just like I wanted saves all my passwords if i need them, but if stolen no worries. It is self powered in your hand with leds working for touching in your key code. Works really nice

Crypto's New Best Friend! Great for keeping passphrases safe along with important documents.
Great for keeping documents safe and even better as a crypto cold wallet. Clear instructions, easy to use and super safe if you happen to lose it, but don't... Love the tamper-proof protection against Brute Force and BadUSB.

Nice USB option
Great product. If you are using USB on computer and medical equipment, decline the second layer of encryption on the computer. Found out the hard way it doesn’t work on the medical equipment and messed up removing the bit locker :( Good USB for research purposes!

You need to buy an adapter before you can use it
I received my Ironkey 200 in good order. The fit and finish seem to be fine for a device of this nature. Programming was a breeze with one caveat. Those little buttons take a fair amount of force to activate. That is good and bad but it does make programming prone to errors if you don't put a fair amount of pressure on the little buttons Unfortunately I have to give this device three stars. Not for the device itself but for the misrepresentation when I ordered it. When I put in my order there was clearly an USB C option which I chose I received an USB A model which makes the device totally useless to me except as a paperweight. I am now efforting an USB female A to USB male C so I can get some use out of this device. PS. Before I wrote this review, I checked to see if the C version was still an option. That option has been removed in the two days since I have ordered this device and only the A version is now available If they were going to switch devices, I believe the customer should have been notified before shipment, or at least given the chance to effort an adapter so the device can be used in the real world as it exists today.

Great product!
A bit pricey but it does what it says on the box. Recommended.
