Excellent! All round better than anything out there. And well worth trying if you have difficulties with your hands.
This peeler is sharper and much easier to use than the trad ones. It peels accurately, and appears to reduce the chance of cutting (peeling) yourself, because of the way it is held. It has a useful little transparent 'keeper' to keep the blade sharp in your cutlery or utensils drawer, snaps on/off neatly. It fits nicely in the palm and there is no need to grip it. If you have any problems with your hands this could be very useful because it reduces strain on finger joints. This is an attractive, convenient and durable item for anybody, but the next bit I hope will be useful to anybody with joints problems: I suspect that if you have very sore elbows (from Repetitive Strain Injuries / connective tissue disorder / &c), you might feel the effort there instead of at the wrist or hand area. In this case It is easier to peel away from you rather than towards you, (which applies with any peeler, but you have more chance with this one of a comfortable RSI-free experience.) Lots of fast little 'chipping' peeling motions away from you gives a fast, easy peel which would not be possible with any other peeler I have experienced. Sturdy and easy to clean, and dishwasher safe.

Another success story
I have already reviewed the palm held serrated peeler and the brush and this straight edge peeler is just as good as those. The serrated blades are great for peeling soft veg and fruit. I use it for cucumber, apples and tomatoes sometimes. The straight edge blade on this peeler is great for carrots, potatoes, swede and other harder veg. Again, it is very sharp and works very well once you have got used to the different technique. As with the other peeler it comes with a blade protector. They look really smart too. I leave mine out on the shelf over the kitchen sink rather than chuck them in the kitchen drawer. The two peelers also have a little bit sticking out that removes potato eyes and blemishes. They have thought of everything.

Great little gadget (rethink the f sizing of the finger hole)
From reading the mixed reviews, I was hesitant to buy this but went ahead anyway as I thought it was a good idea, hopefully the following advantages and disadvantages will help you to make the right decision: + Good price + Well thought out little gadget - super easy to wash + Great for peeling vegetable (carrots especially) - tip: with the peeler in your hand, imagine the carrot is a cat / dog and perform the stroking motion - The size of the hole doesn't stretch that much - I have quite thin fingers for a guy and find it a bit of a squeeze so not sure it would fit the average guy's finger size (this is its major flaw) Overall, I would recommend this item, but only if your middle (or whichever finger you;ll use) is quite thin, because it's a neat design and, in a weird way, it does make peeling more enjoyable.

Best little peeler ever! Great durable blades
The best peeler ever! I bought the first one almost 8 yeas ago in Sweden but one day it went into the bin with the potato peels by mistake. I tried different ones but it wasn't the same. I found the same brand on Amazon and I was very happy. The blades are amazing and the grip is so perfect. To me it's the best one in the market. I use it not just for peeling but for slicing carrots and red cabbage for salads. Don't accept cheaper imitations even if you see the same shape. Look for the brand!

peeler
Arrived in good time and for a low priced item it seems very well made. However, other reviewers have mentioned that the finger slot is small, which it is. It is split so it can expand to fit different sizes of finger but my partner found it would only fit his smallest fingers and this wasn't practical to use - he stated it would have been ok had he been able to use on the middle finger but the finger holder is way too small for a large hand. Shame really as otherwise it's a great idea.

Simply the best peeler I've ever used!
Yes I know it's only a peeler but a good one can make peeling easy & quick rather than a tedious chore. The blade is sharp and cuts clean on every stroke, it's simple to use and comfortable in the hand. The only thing is, when this peeler arrived it was a cherry colour not the green one I was expecting.

Great gadget, best peeler
This is the second one I’ve bought. I would never go back to a traditional peeler. I must have thrown the other one in the bin! It is so easy to use. Comes with a blade cover too.

Great for people with hand disabilities
This is a really good peeler for my mum. It’s the second one she has had like it. And is particularly good for her because she has one disabled hand. And the other has limited movement. With this she can balance the potato etc in her palm and peel. Something that she couldn’t do with a conventional peeler. Was a bit expensive bearing in mind, others in the past have been a lot cheaper. But not readily available at present it seems. So still a good buy.

I purchased one of these over a decade ago from a cutlery shop and my parents loved this thing. I meant to buy more from the cutlery shop for work, but that store closed down. When I moved out of my parents' house, I left my old one with them and they still use it to this day. My wife told me she missed the comfort and convenience of having a safe peeler that was easy to store and easy to use. As a result, I searched Amazon for this peeler (forgot the name so it took a while) and purchased it about a year ago. Since it was so awesome, I decided it was a good idea to write a review about it. It is very easy to use and perfect for taking the skin off of produce. If it says anything, my family did restaurant business for over 20 years and we have had our share of peelers going bad, accidents happening, and eventually breaking due to overuse. This product lasts and it does an excellent job I would like to point out that despite the benefits of the design being safe and easy to use, it is important to not be careless when using it.

Was natürlich jede/r anders sehen mag.

I love this peeler. I bought one the same years ago and just recently lost it. It is my favorite peeler esp. since I have arthritis in my hand and this peeler is amazing to peel squash, turnip, sweet potatoes and almost everything else.
