Best floss organizer I’ve ever owned – and I’ve tried a lot. These bobbins are made of thick, sturdy plastic that doesn’t bend or snap when you wind tight (or when the cat uses them as toys). Each one comes with a metal insert so the thread actually stays put instead of exploding the second you set it down. The real game-changer is the sticker pack: pre-printed numbers for every current DMC color (1–999, including the new 01–35), plus a sheet of blank stickers for hand-dyes or future releases. Labels stick firmly and line up perfectly. I organized 400+ skeins in one evening. Now I can grab 310 (black) or 3837 (deep purple) in seconds instead of untangling a rainbow knot for 20 minutes. My projects move faster and I frog way less. If you cross-stitch or do any serious embroidery, this set is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

PRO TIP (Well I'm not a pro, just VERY impatient). The bobbin winder is fine, doesn't attach to the box very well and it's not much faster than hand winding. SOOOO my impatient self thought, "will the bobbin holder end fit in my electric drill bit socket??" IT DOES!!!! Just take the part that holds the bobbin tab itself, secure it into where you'd place a drill bit and go to town! I hold the drill secure on a table top, and give a medium squeeze with one hand. With the other I hold the thread taught and move it side to side as the drill runs. Less than 30 seconds and thread is perfectly wound onto the bobbin tab! The case is also great. I'm going to need to buy another though because I have a whole tote bag full of thread.

Came with enough cards to put 2 colors of thread in each slot +2 extra cards in case one breaks. Cards are pretty sturdy and I dont see them breaking easily. The pre-numbered labels are a good size, you can see in the photo how they look. Yes, the empty labels are too big for the cards. You could probably fix that instantly with some scissors. Then you'd get at least 3 labels out of each blank sticker. The spooling tool cannot be stored in the box if you want to fill it with thread. However, you can remove slot dividers to fit the tool in the box and still have 40 cards of thread. The tool is sturdy enough. It worked well and quickly for my first two skeins shown in the photos. You have to be careful, and shouldn't be winding crazy fast anyway. But if you have whiz winding skills and like it fast, this tool isn't for you. I really like the kit, I only docked a star because of the tool stability. You can tell they intended for it to sit more flush with the box, but unfortunately it only slides in halfway and you have to be more careful while spooling your skeins. Overall a great purchase for what I needed.

If you are into cross stitching, youll know exactly how frustrating it can be when the threads end up literally everywhere, with no explanation. For an awesome price, you can organize your colors and keep them tightly wound. It is a nice hard case plastic organizer complete with many spools for your thread. I find it especially helpful that it has a locking clasp that keeps my darned cat out of my thread. It is a relatively small case too, easy to store almost anywhere next to your favorite stitching spot.

Made of sturdy plastic with removable dividers. The winder is unusable. The bobbins will not fit in the slot. The stickers are a little too big and cover part of the hole used for winding. Since I can’t use the winder anyway that’s not a big deal. I was more interested in the storage than the winder, so I’m keeping it.

Great tools to process and good organization in

Better than expected. I don’t think I looked at everything it came with and was pleasantly surprised it came with the little crank along with the stickers and cards to put the thread around. The cards are nice quality. The crank sometimes falls off the other side but if you’re careful, it only happened a couple times. Great for the price and makes things feel so organized!

Love these! I have a lot of embroidery floss ajd needed somewhere to keep them. Kind of annoying to lock, but works as well as i need them too. I like how they stack and pretty stable and out of the way. No one else I know seems to care about how pretty embroidery floss is when organized, but I do lol

The tool for winding up the thread doesn’t stay in place as well which was the only problem I have when it would fall off but other than that it’s a great storage kit for beginners. There could be more space for thread if you just want it for that like me so I ran out of the winding plates to wind up thread it came with to store as you can see in the picture there is still 6 slots left to fill. You need to trim the numbered stickers as I find them to be a little too big for the winding plate and a sliver of it would be hanging off of it.

Good closure and sturdy I use it for storing my embroidery floss. Its very good lid functionality and compact size. Helps me keep everything organised

Spoel winder was te smal konden geen geen kaartjes tussen met schuurpapiertje zelf beter gemaakt. Stickers hadden wat smaller gemogen dus knip de randjes af om beter passend te maken. Het zelf indelen is wel heel fijn.
