NOT 480ml
Nice enough cup, but as so many other reviews point out, the capacity is nowhere near 480ml. Mine is a mere 430ml if filled right up to the brim. Which means it can hold, safely, definitely no more than 400ml, and even that is a push. So this is in fact just an average-size and rather average-looking mug, therefore very very overpriced.

Una tazza da latte di porcellana molto fine. Un piacere fare colazione sorseggiando un caffelatte da una tazza così. Ti fa sentire bene.

Excellent mug in all respects
It is a great quality mug. It's oval not round which is rather nice as I can hold by handle or around mug. However, Villeroy & Boch need to coordinate their capacity measurements. This mug is stated as being 12.5 oz which is wrong. It is 14 oz which is exactly what I want. I had gotten two of Mariefleur BasicCollection Latte Macchiato Mug with a pink flower design. That one is stated as being 480L which is about 16 oz but it is actually 14 oz. I loved that mug so much I got two and then, looking for another got this New Cottage mug even though it is plain white. I usually like different designs on my mugs. I also have one of their French designed mugs.

Sehr schöne Tasse
Die Tasse ist oval, wie ich sie wollte, ist 11cm hoch und fasst 375 ml- 400ml, ohne dass sie randvoll ist. Ich bevorzuge die 400ml. Die Farbe ist gebrochen weiß, leicht hellbeige. Ich liebe sowohl die Form, als auch die Farbe. Es ist eine meiner Lieblingstassen. Man kann gut daraus trinken.
