Finally got this far. Anyone have any luck ordering it? All I was getting was dogs until now.

Yes I did, and I got an order # confirmation. I sat here and refreshed from 10:55am ET until 11:54pm ET and it finally showed up with a pre order button. I was extremely frustrated because Amazon was supposed to have the highest stock. IGN article says that Amazon site has been crashing. Before I saw that article all I was getting was the "dogs" broken link page, so I assume that's what they are referring to. It was also saying "Product is not available" from the search page, which is what it is saying again now. So, if you continue to refresh the page you might get lucky and see the pre order button pop up! Good luck.

Lol, they've been available the whole time if you order your xbox sx from your xb1 store. Pause your game, open store, search for console, buy it at 499$, continue your game. It'll be there in 1-3d. Yw.

Is there a recommendation for a 2nd controller?

I'm a huge fan of my Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition controller. I like the extra remappable buttons and their placement more than the Xbox Elite Controllers. It is wired, and has a rather long, durable cable (with a safety release to prevent yanking it out of your console). It works seamlessly with PC/Xbox One via USB A connection. I feel like I get slightly quicker input/better responsiveness when pressing buttons with the razer controller compared to wireless controllers. It's usually between $99-120 on Amazon.
