42151 Remote Control Motor Kit for Lego Technic 42162 Bugatti Bolide Racing Car Kit Motor Set (NOT Included The car Sets) (Motor)

I bought this for modifing my 42162 car to have power and can be controlled remotely, although the instruction is for 42151, but these two cars are almost the same, it is not very hard to modify my 42162 car by using the same instruction, they also send me the new instruction, a good purchase experience.

Bought this motor kit set to put in the Lego Bugatti Bolide Technic set to turn the car into a remote controlled car.Pros- The build is simple enough, the directions actually make sense and are somewhat east to follow.This set comes with pieces needed to attach the motors in the car.The motors actually make the car scoot along quickly and the steering is responsive.Cons- The steering motor in this kit sits WAY too low in the Lego Bugatti Bolide, it drags the ground when you drive the car around, which causes the back tires to lose grip and spin out. The steering motor scrapes so badly the noise is obvious and loud just driving the car around without hitting any bumps.Unless you can find a way to alter the Lego build to account for how low the steering motor sits, this is definitely not worth the $45 they charge for this set.
