WHAT SIZE ARE THE LIFTING BLOCKS?

The rugby lifting blocks are 150mm x 30mm x 25mm. Big enough but not too big!

ARE THE LIFTING BLOCKS RE-USEABLE?

Yes. And if you’re careful they should last the season. The biggest risk is loosing them!

Neither EAB or TEARABLE EAB is waterproof. However they are both breathable and water resistant, meaning that it will survive a heavy down pour during a match but they can not be used for water sports.

WHAT IS THE BEST LINEOUT TAPE?

The most common tape used to secure lifting blocks in rugby is TEAR EAB. The jumpers use this tape to hold the foam block in place and to provide the lifter with a grippy area to hold on their leg.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOCK TAPE & ELECTRICAL TAPE?

Our SOCK TAPE is made from a PVC specially chosen for use in sport. It stretches to 175%, allowing space for muscle expansion beneath the tape when playing sport. This prevents over-compression that can reduce blood flow known as ‘tourniquet’.
