Do the handle bars turn with the parent control?

Hello dear, The short answer is no they do not. The longer explanation would be - in parent control mode, the parent handle controls the front wheel and the direction of the ride. While that happens, the child control components are disconnected from the wheel. In other words, while the trike is in parent control mode, the child can turn the handlebars but it won't take affect on the wheel. Same goes for pedaling, in parent control mode, the child can turn the pedals, but it won't turn the wheel.
