Did 2 cameras yesterday, 2 today. So far so good. Good level of detail, can read plates all the way to end of driveway in day. Night IR mode is great, but black and white and license plates tend to be blown out, but perhaps recoverable from the image. Install was easy, and was truly plug and play for the physical install. Getting it connected to wifi/internet was easy and the app installs were straightforward. The NVR software is also easy to use. Was able to try out the repeater function when looking at camera bitrates. Getting full strength from all 4 sides of the house. One camera is through 3 walls. Only shortfall was that the power wires for the cameras are a but too short. They should have made these 8 ft. Ran a power strip as an extension for the 2 cameras mounted to the garage and the internal ones will have to be extended about 3-5 feet each. If that wasn't the case, would have been truly plug and play. Other steps were driving holes in the side of the house and mounting the cameras. Got a 16" long 1" diameter spade bit for 11 bucks, along with some silicone sealant in a tube and expanding spray foam. 1 Turned the power off for the whole house (main breaker, did this at noon when it was nice and bright today) 2 Drilled the holes (through siding/housewrap/osb/insulation/drywall and slightly upward from the outside in. One hole was drilled from the inside out. (inside of the house, drywall first) 3 Pulled the cable through with a 2 foot long piece of 3/4" trim by wrapping it and the fat ethernet jack in line with electric tape. Mounted camera with 3 wood screws. (threw out the drywall/concrete screws as they stripped easy with my impact driver) 4 After installing all the cameras (for the day), I powered the house back up via main beaker 5. Turned on system and the cameras were found 6. Played with positions of cameras and software until I was happy The image on the computer in the picture is a doorbell cam. Highly recommend one. Update: Reached out to support for the newest firmware and they asked what I thought of the product. I thought that was great. Told them about the cable length, and they helped me rectify this. Changed to 5 stars. Review: Easy installation, nice product and good support! - The CamView system was quick and easy to set up. However the motion detection on the cameras took quite a bit of fine tuning and honestly might take a couple days of use to get it where you want it. The CamView app is very basic and no-frills. You will receive push notifications from motion detection, but that’s about it. I guess it’s nice so that you can have a timeframe for reference on the HDD, but it would be ideal that when you received the notification that you could open the notification and it took you directly to that camera to see what is being detected. The cameras are very clear both day and night. I had been using this system for about 2.5 months when the hard drive went bad. I started hearing a clicking noise and noticed it wasn’t recording anymore. The camera system was still operational but not recording. I was worried about the customer service and if it would be a hassle to get the HDD replaced however that is why I am writing this review. The folks at C&S CAM did not hesitate to make it right. They quickly replaced my HDD and all has been well. Note, that it does appear that the product support is located in China. I am not sure how the phone support would be, but via email it was very quick and easy. Overall for the price and support I received I would recommend this product.

Not what I expected
Works for me in very short distances. No more than 10' away from the receiver. The app is the worst because it never works. Please do yourself and get something with a better quality. In the monitor, the video always freezes. The time is always wrong no matter how many times I change it. If I wanna go one day back to an specific time, it is the worst experience.

Don’t bother!
So far nothing has worked! Plug and play is a joke. The instructions are small enough They are impossible to read, the online instructions aren’t much better. Now I have to pay someone to get it going. I could have bought the arlo system by the time this is over! Update: got one camera working. It’s really dark in the house at night and my nanny Hawkcam works wonders better. Can’t hardle see with the camera. I’m going to keep the nanny Cam hope it’s better in the backyard, when I get them put up🤣

Great product, easy to install, and unparalleled customer service.
I do not normally leave reviews to be honest. Unless there is some sort of extra mile customer service, or the product is trash and I want everyone to know. With that being said I am very happy to be leaving a review for this product. I will start by saying the camera system arrived on time and undamaged. The units look nice and the actual camera install is super easy. You can literally just plug the camera in and it works. The Video recorder was just as easy. Just connect the cables and its on and working. The website is easy to follow tutorials on how to do virtually everything you need to do. That helps even a novice figure out what needs to be done. I did have a slight issue with the unit when it arrived. The NVR was missing the 1TB HDD that was supposed to be preinstalled, and two cameras didnt work at night at all. I contacted the company and within 5 hours I had a reply. The company promptly sent me 2 new cameras and a new 1TBHDD. I was surprised to say the least. Once I installed the new equipment the company emailed me many times checking on me and making sure that I was happy with what was done. This is top notch customer service at its best. I love the units and I know if I ever need anything I can reach out to a person that will listen and help. I highly recommend this system to anyone that ants an easy install with great camera quality.

Not bad for the money!
I like the product and it worked great for a month. Unfortunately one of my cameras died today, so I’m a little frustrated. I am hoping they will send me a replacement camera. The app. is a little troublesome and doesn’t always work with our cell phones. When we are home on our WiFi network the app works almost all the time. I like the price, the value of products you get for this price point, the image quality is pretty decent, and the play works (but it time consuming to sort through). I would have given this 4 stars if one of the cameras wouldn’t have broken.

You're buying customer service, and the cameras are pretty good, too!
I really like my system, and the customer service is excellent! I had a camera's IR fail and they had a new one to me within a few days, checked on it post delivery and really left me with a great impression as a company! It's not a perfect system, but I like it a lot overall. i found using an old 19" leftover screen really made it awesome, I have it on the wall in my office and allows me to access it easily and with good visuals (see pic) Pros: -Customer service!!! -Works exactly how a CCTV system should -Great cost -seems to not go down hardly at all Neutral: -the app is 60% useful. It doesn't connect sometimes, it's functionality is about average, and playback is not too good -The interface is only okay. I can get what I want out of it, but has a learning curve. Cons: -Not the easiest to setup. -Not expandable -I wished I had bought higher resolutions cameras

Good unit for the money
I looked at all the competition and read all the reviews pro and con and finally decided on theCAMVIEW system. I really like the quality of the system and cameras, beautiful view and if you add microphone it makes the system more complete. Having said that, there are a few things that would help. My base unit is centrally located and no more than 25 feet from the furthest camera. I only get a strong signal from 2 cameras and one camera will cut off sometimes. I have tried adjusting the antenna, etc but at least it works most of time. Another problem is that you cannot view remotely unless connected to WiFi using Ethernet cable and that is not helpful when it is two rooms away. I have tried using the repeater option and cannot get it to work. Still I am sure it is as good as their competition so I will recommend this CAMVIEW unit.
