Unisex Peahi Sunglasses

Review is based on my opinions and will be different from other's. Lenses are very high quality. They don't have a very strong tint but they are perfect in all conditions. With no cloud cover, the lenses provide a lot of relieft from strong glare and brightness. Even in overcast conditions late in the day, the tinting isn't too strong to see clearly. I prefer the bronze lenses because in raining conditions, it still manages make things a bit easier to see especially good for driving in wet weather. The bronze isn't very strong either but just enough filter out the blue and green interference colours which are great for all conditions. Comforting to the eyes. These lenses make what you're seeing a lot nicer than what's actually there. The clouds are nicely contrasted and give them more definition. You can see into water because of the polarisatoin. Maui Jim do know how to make a nice lense. I still like the clarity of glass lenses, but these are very clear but they don't have the sparkle of their glass lenses. The actually glasses themselves are nicely made. Doesn't sit on my face perfectly because my face is wonky, slightly. Not heavy and is highly unlikely to fall off your face when doing most outdoor activities. I wouldn't play volleyball i them. The finish is a matte plastic which feels very nice. Unlike most American products, it's nicely made. My 4th pair of Maui Jims and they're as good as the first pair. Try them on before buying them, I read some idiot say these glasses are bad because they don't fit his face. Well whose fault is that for not trying them on first?

This is my second pair. The worst day of my life was going camping, getting flooded during the week and throwing the leaky tent away at the end of our stay. Unfortunately, I'd left the specs in a pocket of the tent, which was screwed up into a bin liner and stamped down in to an industrial dustbin!! I went home (wanting to cry) and purchased another identical pair immediately. I love these glasses, and the bronze tinted lenses just makes the world look nicer.

^See the world as it was ment to be seen^ is lierly how I would dscribe these glasses. I have used oakelys and other top of the line glasses and Maui Jims is deffently the clearest and comfest on the market!

I love these sunglasses. However they are very expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for. Very high quality frames and glass lenses. No comparison to cheap glasses. I have a problem with losing expensive glasses and hope I don't lose these.

I have to contribute to the raving reviews... I had never heard of Maui Jim sunglasses until my wife mentioned them and highly praised them. So on an impulse, I bought a pair. Here is what I like: - Very comfortable. - No gap left for the sun to blind me. - Nicely polarized. - Very nice color scheme for the lenses. - Nice carrying case Here is what I like less: - Expensive (well you get what you pay for...) - No cleaning cloth provided - Some kind of carry bag provided in the case that won't work for cleaning In conclusion: Maui Jim sunglasses may indeed be the best in the market. I am now convinced of their very high quality.

The left lens was shattered when I opened the box after delivery. I had to send them back.

I have had the Stingray in the tortoise since 2016 and I love them. The Peahi in the tortoise is like a big brother to the Stingray. The fit is perfect for me just like the Stingray, not too large and these have the most amazing wrap out there. I can also snug these right up against my face without having my eye lashes raking the inside of the lenses, which eventually mucks up the clarity and requires frequent cleaning. Let me say that the tortoise frame is the one to get, MUCH BETTER than the rubber. It is not even close. When you hold these in your hands you instantly feel the quality of craftmanship, just as I do with my Stingray frame. Last week I received the Local Kine from MJ directly and the frames no longer say 'Made in Italy'. So not sure where they are made now. The tortoise frames are VERY comfortable, more so than the rubber, which left me feeling like I was slipping on a straight jacket, with the rubber frames there is not enough room for ventilation of your face. I can see why some complain of the fogging with the rubber frames. You will not have that issue with the tortoise, and not to worry, the tortoise frame blocks just as much ambient light from sneaking in. I was also happy to see that the outer box came label-sealed, ensuring that these have never been tried on by someone else, I included a picture of that. And the design of the other end of the box is such that it is impossible to open without tearing the box. So happy to have these!
