Great control unit and remote at a great price.
Easy installation. Easy to use. Replaced my original SKY-3001 (after over 25 years) that had extra features. Only used on and off. This new unit works great with no extra settings to fool with. Can’t beat the price. So far, so good.

Simple and works great
This is my third remote for this fireplace. Not only did the first two die in a couple years but they were both far more complex with many more functions. The problem is I just want to turn the fireplace on and off. I shouldn't have to press buttons multiple times, turn on a light and read a screen to do this. This remote has and on and off buttons that I can operate by touch. It's great. Now, if you need to be able to use your remote as a thermostat or set your fireplace to operate on a timer then this isn't the remote for you. But if you are like me and just want a remote on and off switch then this the perfect solution.

Works perfect perfectly, and replaces the Napoleon switch. This is just a simple remote with a switch that connects to wires together, but it makes the fireplace worked the way it should. Good deal, buy with confidence!

Exact replacement that works.
The controller was a direct replacement for my unit which was failing to pair after 8 years of use. Took the old one out (two electrical push connectors), plugged the new one in (new remote takes 2 AAA batteries rather than one 23A - an improvement in my estimation). Installed 4 AA batteries in the control box and used it. It came from the factory paired. Has a slight delay and audible beep using the remote but feels solid and has worked every time. As is getting expected in my delivery area it was 2 days late arriving.

Good but wires to short
Good product, good price, easy to install. My only complaint is that the wires are very short. They are half the length of the wires on my previous unit.
