If ironed on the inside, can you see the glue on the outside, does it seep through?

My jeans had split out in the rear by a pocket. So the split was vertical and approx 4 inches long.. I ironed the patch from the inside keeping the split closed up tightly on the outside.... Need to be part octopus but it worked... Very happy with a 15 minute fix for someone who would never attempt to use a sewing machine.... Cannot see the patch from the outside.......... and no glue seeped through.. Very happy

I want to iron these on under a hole so it will show through. but won't it be shiny? and glue looking? the hole is big. thanks

Yes, I think it would be shiny. You would probably have to put a piece of matching material over the sticky shiny part of the patch. I would think it would be hard to iron on a patch over a big hole without some fabric for it to stick to.

Would this patch fix ripped back pockets from the inside of back pocket?

I don't see why not. I have used them on the inside to prevent wear through from my prosthetic device.

Do you need fabric glue to apply the patch on?

No, patch already has glue, the hot iron melts the glue
