Is this live crushed coral sand?

Hi it's not live sand or crushed. It dried natural sand. If using in an aquarium it will need washing. It is not fine suger sand but 2-3mm grains.

Can this sand be used for shell dwellers that come from lake tanganyika in there tank

I think this item is a marine sand that will have a lot of sea salt in it. I would look to get sand based solely for freshwater tropicals.

Perfect for my nano tank

This sand was perfect for my 32litre nano reef tank I am setting up. It covered the bottom to a depth of around 1.5-2cm. I didn’t wash it first and the water didn’t go cloudy when I added saltwater. The sand is white under my lighting and complements the rockwork nicely.
