Evans DADK Magnetic Head Drum Key, Chrome, 5.75 in*8.75 in*0.8 in

Bought this as wanted something a little more substantial than the usual drum keys to go into a drum maintenance kit for drum tech work. This certainly fits the bill, sturdy and magnetic with a longer reach. Being able to spin it with the top part extension can make changing heads quicker. Its expensive compared to others, but as part of a drum servicing kit where you can keep track of where the key, its worth it. Still a place for the cheaper ones, that if you lose you can just reach for another one! Would I buy again? Yes although hopefully I won't need to!

great feel, such a solid build quality. having a magnetic in the head is fab a when you put it on a drum lug it isn't going anywhere. in my opinion it looks great! leave it on ya floor tom lug and you know its always gona be there, well unless someone has taken it without asking :o

Good value key with comfortable grip at top for faster lug removal. The curved handles are very good for grip also and the magnet stoops the frustration of dropping the key repeatedly. Overall good product

This is the best drum key I have used , large size wings so very comfortable and easy to tighten / loosen bolts . Magnetic so you can leave it on the drum while playing . Would recommend .

Great drum key, chunky. Feels nice in the hand and I like the magnetic feature which means you can leave it on a lug on your snare for easy access. Only downside is that for some drums it's a bit too chunky to fit the tuning rod.

Really robust weighty key, I love this and will buy one again. Extra points as I think it has magic powers - I've had it for months and it still hasn't vanished..........

This is the only key I ever really use on most gigs. 1 drawback is that it won't fit INSIDE a Mapex memory lock for my stool or stand adjustments when re-setting up my equipment. Highly recommended, rattle free, feels good.

A beautifully made drum key that feels smooth in the hand, but which slips on certain things, like TAMA Iron Cobra pedal beater locks etc., the TAMA key working perfectly. I don't quite understand why, but the internal measurement seems to be slightly too large! Works well for most things though, like tuning drums, and I have a pair of them. They also lock onto a floor tom tuning rod and stay there without rattling. Unfortunate, because if not for their evident incompatibility with certain bits of equipment, they would get a perfect score.

Ho comprato questa chiavetta perchè aveva dei plus tipo l'essere magnetica e molto consistente e robusta. Immaginate la mia amara sorpresa quando mi sono accorto che è leggermente più grande dei dadi di un rullante .... la chiave gira praticamente a vuoto. Domenica dovevo cambiare la pelle al mio rullante per un concerto il lunedi. Alla fine ho portato il rullante da un amico per sistemare la cose. Il mio rullante poi non è certo un modello economico avendo un valore di mercato di più di 400 euro ! Pessimo davvero ! Spero il mio sia un caso isolato vista la serietà della evans in generale
