71735 19-1/8 Inch Band Clamp for Dust Collector, Fits JET, Grizzly, Shop Fox, Wen, Harbor Freight, and POWERTEC DC-1512

I was getting frustrated with my bags coming loose and spewing sawdust all over my shop, so I decided it was time to look for a replacement. I'm so glad I found and bought this one. First of all, it's a perfect fit and locks in place much stronger than the original strap. Also, this one is made of a super strong spring steel and will not stretch like the original. Heck, even if my machine was brand new, I would still replace it with this strap. It is a a terrific upgrade. Hope that helps! Take care my friends!

I purchased this for a Shopsmith DC3300 after another reviewer/responder stated it fit the DC3300. This is false, the 2nd picture shows it is too long for the top/filter and the 3rd picture shows it is way too long for the bottom/collection bag. I cut 9” off with snips, drilled out the rivets holding the teeth, used the old end as a template to drill new holes, and reinstalled the teeth with rivets. Now it fits the DC3300 bottom collection bag as shown in the 1st picture. Would have rated 5 stars if screws had been used instead of rivets.

Works just fine, I put a white hard barrel in place of the clear plastic bag and it works great

I got this band as an upgrade for my Grizzly 2HP dust collector. It had the old style stainless steel screw band. I was hard to replace the bag because of limited access and the crew was a pain to tighten while holding the bag in the proper position. With the spring loaded band it's quick and painless. I just place the ring in the 3rd notch and close the lever. Works like a charm.

I had to move 2 rivets for the band to tighten enough for both the new filter bag and clear plastic bag for the chips and shavings

Different color, but great quality

I have a Grizzly 2HP 220volt dust collector. I bought the plastic bags to use as the lower bag but had a terrible time getting the original steel clamp around while trying to hold the plastic bag. Even after I got the clamp on I had dust flying out of the opening where the screw mechanism binds the two ends of the clamp together. The old clamp was just not made to use with a plastic bag. This clamp is perfect. It goes on without tools and because there is metal under the clamping mechanism there is no dust flying out. I wish I would have bought a clamp like this 20 years ago.

It fit like it should , makes bag removal easier than a hose clamp.
