I recently purchased this guitar and overall, I'm quite pleased with its performance. The sound quality is exceptional, and its lightweight design makes it easy to play for extended periods. Holding it is a breeze, contributing to an enjoyable playing experience. However, it's important to note a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the absence of fret markers for 3-5-9 positions can be a bit inconvenient, especially for beginners. Additionally, while the overall string quality is decent, there's room for improvement as I've encountered some issues with their longevity. Despite these minor drawbacks, the guitar's positive attributes make it a solid choice for players who prioritize sound quality and comfort.

Love this guitar for the sound. Just the right balance of warmth and clarity. Was surprised to find that both sides are made of wood and not plywood in this price range. Another important reason that I picked this guitar was that it’s a “hybrid” it’s not really advertised as such, I kind of had to research about this till I found a video on YT from one of Yamaha’s presentations. There are basically 2 types of categories for nylon stringed guitars - Classical and Flamenco. I like the playability of Flamenco but the warmer tones of Classical. I play everything on this guitar because the string action is low (strings are close to the neck like on acoustic/electric guitars). Typical classical guitar action is too high for my style of playing and is generally more difficult to play (also their neck is thicker). I pretty much narrowed it down to two brands in similar configuration but the tone of Yamaha was more rich to my ears.
