What is the length of the actual refill? I don't trust that the dimensions listed don't include packaging. Over six inches does not a 'mini' pen make to me.

you are correct the dimensions listed include the packaging. The actuall size of the refill its self is a little under 3 inches. I bought these refills for a cross pen that has three alternating points one being a pencile and the others were a red pen and a black. The pen its self is a normal size pen but the ink tubes are small. I hope this helps you.
