Seiorca 104 PBT Keycap Set Doubleshot Backlit Keycaps for Mechanical Keyboard with Key Puller (Gray)

For $18, these are decent keycaps. I was looking for PBT double-shot caps to replace the stock one on the Velocifire keyboard I bought last month. The stocks caps are ABS and, while they're actually pretty solid, they're difficult to see unless the backlight is on. Compared to the stock Velocifire caps, these are clearly thinner and lighter. They show some molding artifacts on the edges which are not visible once installed. The PBT has a great, textured feel as it should. Legends are clear, but suffer from some unevenness because the thicker plastic from the posts is slightly visible. If the sound of the keycaps makes a difference to you, know that the stock Velocifire ABS caps have a deeper thud to them. These sound a bit more hollow when you bottom out and ring at a higher frequency. These caps, even in low light and with backlighting off, offer enough contrast between the caps and the legends that you can see what's what. I'm not bad with touch typing, but I have to look sometimes. That's why I got them. I'm in no sense an experienced mechanical keyboard user, so these do the trick for now.

I was missing the ISO enter key that is supposed to be included, but still received the extra \ | key to go along with it, luckily, my keyboard uses the ANSI enter key which I prefer anyway. There are rough edges where the keys were broken off their form, if that bothers you you can always sand them down, though it isn't noticeable and doesn't get in the way at all. Backlighting is better than the stock keys I had. The texture is amazing and I doubt I'll ever be able to go back to ABS keycaps. I have heard that PBT doesn't get the shine from your fingers rubbing against it over time, I will update if that is at all untrue. I did keep the stock black ABS keycaps on the top row as I am still not used to the function keys on this keyboard and need the reference. Great value and if you have a TKL keyboard like I do you can use the extra caps for an external numpad if you decide to get one and make them match.

I ordered these to replace the remaining stock keycaps on my Red Dragon K552. It could be because I'm new to the hobby but these were one of the only OEM sets of backlit gray keycaps I could find especially on a budget and I'm very pleased! Now for the Pros/Cons Pros: Very nice texture on the tops and the color is that nice and uniform what I like to call space gray. All the keys sit evenly down the rows and line up with my Tai-Hao rubber caps, living up to the OEM profile claim. Light passes through rather well on (most) keys and looks very crisp against the gray. They all feel very sturdy which I was worried about when looking at the price tag. Cons: As others have stated, these did come with some flashing/mold lines that I sanded off the caps I added to my KB. While the rest of the caps were in great shape the spacebar was slightly warped, BUT with a little heat application (hair dryer) I was able to remedy that easily. "Most" was in parentheses regarding light pass through because keycaps with larger legends, particularly the Win key, have the stem base visible. This really doesn't bother me too much in the end because the overall look more than makes up for it. In my opinion if you're needing a set on a budget these are definitely worth considering! I'm considering grabbing the white set for a little more swapping on my KB but even if I didn't I love how these have really given it a whole new look that I'm very happy with.

I bought these to replace some ABS keycaps on a board, and I was looking for gray. I had previously purchased some that cost about twice as much and had casting flaws, very little light flowthrough and a funky font. These have a nice font (for PBT), the texture is fine, the keys are very uniform and they let an amazing amount of light through. I haven't measured the thickness, but they seem to be sufficiently solid. They fit a little tight, but that's not a bad thing if you aren't swapping caps all the time. I also like that the Tab, Caps and Shift keys are text instead of symbols. My only real complaint is that I don't like the layout of the numpad del/period key, and I don't really care for the PU/PD/HM keys. That's one place that ABS keys shine, the ability to have high-resolution legends. If they had a darker grey set and/or a black set, I would probably try that as well. If these cost twice as much I would still be happy with them.

I like the larger font. Especially the size of the punctuation symbols. The LED backlight shines through very well on the gray keys. I also appreciate how the keys are packaged. Some of the alphanumeric keys have a gap in the font. Take a look at the letter O and the number zero 0. I don't like the crammed period and del on the numpad. I also don't like HM, PU, PD keys. I would rather it be spelled out. On my set, the right/bottom of the numpad plus key arrived with a crack.

These are great key caps that look and feel premium, especially when compared to most caps that come stock on keyboards. The light shines through brilliantly and evenly. As other people have mentioned, there are some keys that have uneven or rough finishes on the bottoms of the keys but since you can't really see that once they are installed it doesn't bother me. Even if it did, I would just sand them down myself. The texture of the PBT is a really nice kind of grainy feeling that feels great on the fingers, and now that I've tried these I don't think I could go back to ABS caps again. Overall, I recommend these if you're looking for some nice PBT backlit caps.

Purchased the Gray Set to use on a CMStorm QuickFireTK. PROS: - Keycap texturing feels great and is on the lighter side, definitely not heavy texturing/grain. - Keycaps are thin, but with my keyboard's blue led backlighting there is no noticeable translucency even at full brightness, meaning i'm not getting any noticeable keycap 'glow'. - They feel much better than the stock ABS keycaps which were starting to wear/shine and were too smooth for my liking. - The keyboard used has Cherry MX Blues and one very noticeable difference was in the sound at the actuation point. These keycaps have a clearer, higher-pitched and more defined click than the more muddy click i had with the stock ABS keycaps. I don't know if it is because of the PBT material (harder than ABS) or the thinness, or the shape, but regardless it has a much more satisfying click than before. However, this could be a negative if you're already unhappy with how loud MX Blues are and are just considering getting these for the PBT feel. CONS: - Plastic flashing/skirts at the bottom edges of every keycap as others have mentioned. I used a nail file to clean up each cap individually. I don't think it would have affected anything, but it looked messy so I got rid of it. - Inconsistency with legends/double-shot molding -- a few of the legends have thick lettering, while others are barely there and look like the grey plastic is spilling into the clear lettering. With the backlight off it is noticeable, but IMO is not an issue with the backlight on. I didn't use the spacebar so cannot comment on it's fit. I've read that PBT was normally not used for spacebars because it was difficult to mold in that size. This might be why some others are complaining about the poor fit - given this price point there isn't going to be the quality control to get it right, so you'll have to take your chances. Overall i'm 100% satisfied, it's an excellent value as long as you temper your expectations.

Surprisingly not half bad. These aren’t the most amazing keycaps you’ve ever seen but they’re pretty decent. Even more so when you consider that they’re sub $20. I won’t comment on the font since that’s preference and you can seem them in the preview pics of the listing. The space bar wasn’t warped and the keycaps do fit on fairly tightly. I’m using box whites for the curious. However if you are buying these then you really need a backlight to make em’ pop as the legend blends in with the grey version of the keycaps. If there’s one con it’s that they’re not terribly thick. Closer in thickness to something like the pudding keycaps offered by hyper x. But again, these are sub $20, you gotta set your expectations.
