The best you can get
I have had one of these for years and it is simply the best you can get. Sadly I lost mine , either thrown out with peelings or is down the back of the cupboard. So needed a new one, they cost a lot but once you have used one nothing comes close and WMF quality is superb

Best vegetable peeler in the world
Love this product. I got this one as backup - I already have one these 20-odd years, and it occurred to me to get a backup in case mine breaks. Not that it’s showing any signs that it might, but you never know. I would be utterly lost without it, as I’ve never been able to use any other peeler. Anyway, the new one arrived. From the look of it, the quality is exactly the same as the one I have, so I’m very pleased to see that.

Easiest, sharpest peeler in the world!
What a relief! I bought one very like this one in a shop just off Regent Street years and years ago. German made. I loved it so much but then a few days ago my faithful and beloved peeler died! Amazon!!! Replacement. Even better - a bit heavier, maybe sharper, Thank you WMF whoever and wherever you are!

this is like a neat carpentry tool
As I said on my last review, this is like a neat carpentry tool, so nicely made. This is the third one, the last we took to Spain and for some unknown reason, my Mrs, threw it out with the peelings. This time, I got the stainless handle to match up, with the ice cream scoop and the whisk.

Dirty, scratched & not as shown in the photo
I might have kept the peeler, if it had been the right one - the one with the sharp, pointed triangle - but it’s rounded, ie safe, even for potato eyes. HOW can this item have gotten dirty under the screw and how can there be blunt areas on the metal? WMF? What, seconds & returns?

Stabiler und hochwertiger Sparschäler
Der Sparschäler macht insgesamt einen sehr hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Er schält sauber und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich gut und das Produkt wirkt langlebig. Für kleinere Hände ist er allerdings etwas groß, wodurch die Handhabung nicht ganz so angenehm ist. Trotzdem ein gutes Produkt mit sehr guter Qualität.

Stellar Quality from WMF, as usual
WMF makes the best kitchen tools! They work well and truly last. I bought this peeler after having my WMF can opener for at least 5 years. Never rust, no matter how long they sit in the sink. Expensive, but worth every penny.
