IDontix Brace X-Floss, Green

I have been using normal floss all around my mouth but only after changing dentist and hygienist I was told that this floss is so much better to clean unde implants. It is easy to thread through the gap between teeth and reach under the implant. I have had really good results with it, and can see that even after using mouthwash and brushing, not all bits of food stuck under the implants come out so this floss is absolutely necessary. It is a bit more expensive than normal floss but is worth it.

Really good for cleaning out between bridges, implants etc but does sometimes fray a little and bits can get stuck

This is a much thicker floss than the usual brands and has been designed to clean under implants and bridges. I am so ridiculously squeamish that flossing is one of those things that I really hate but I am also extremely nervous about leaving food debris after eating that could cause any problems with the fixed implants that I have had recently. After surgery my dentist recommended this product to me. This is so easy to use as each strand has a nylon threader attached which just pushes through with no problem at all. It is thick enough to clean around and under the implant and does it so thoroughly that nothing is left behind. It is very soft on my gums and so has given me confidence to move it about to clean properly. There are 30 strands in the pack I never thought I would say that floss is excellent but it really is and is so simple and effective to use.

My implants are at the rear of my mouth and in the upper jaw. I find it extremely difficult to follow my dentist's instructions (I'm 81). The first pass through the very slim gap is not easy but the return pass through the second gap is well nigh impossible, probably due to my fairly short stubby fingers and the fact that I have to work from behind my teeth and, of course, every move has to be done in reverse via the mirror. Most uncomfortable. I think I may have to cancel my standing order and find if there is an alternative method of flossing my implants. In addition, I find that the thin leader which initially passes between my teeth is very fragile and easily comes apart and simply slides through the floss making a mockery of the whole procedure. Yes, I think I want to cancel my three month standing order. YOU DO NOT SEEM TO BE TAKING NOTICE OF THE LAST SENTENCE ABOVE!! I HAVE ASKED YOU, WITHOUT SUCCESS, TO CANCEL THIS STANDING ORDER. PLEASE CANCEL NOW. i REPEAT PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER FOR THE IDONTIX X-FLOSS, WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. Ther must be an easier and quicker way to deal with you. Is there a phone number or email address I could use???????

Clean well

Works - but tricky until you get the hang of it. Nothing else would do the same job as this is pushed under the small gap between gum and implanted teeth
